Tan lines are nice because they tell additional story. Telling about garments usually worn, but now discarded, making the moment more special. Girl with strong sharp tan lines outdoors aren't a habitual nudist, she may be even a first timer for the experience.
Fading tan lines are even more exciting, because they tell about change of habits and attitudes. Sometimes there's luck in finding several series of the same model that form a sequence, where in first there's strong, large tan lines, maybe even in several steps, shadows from dresses or shirts, then in next there's just a fading shadow of much smaller bikini bottoms and nothing else, then in yet another there's dark all over tan that's been undisturbed by any clothing for quite a while. Sure, those may be taken long time apart, yet it's so inciting to fantasize it's been all single long summer.
