The United States is the only thing keeping the Russians or the Chinese from annexing Canada.

I had to laugh a bit. Did you forget that Russia sold Alaska to the US for like 20 mil? Why would they want Canada? And the Chinese? What are they going to do, float over the pacific in their bamboo boats and make it all the way to Ottawa and shut down parliment? Listen,.. The US has many boogymen, but Canada doesn't fear any of the ones you mentioned. Our biggest fear is the US. I very much doubt even the UK would come to our rescue if America invaded.
