She squeezed Rick's arm, as he looked pleadingly at Talia?

Do you think you are close to getting through the night alone? Even if for just one night, I would love to borrow him back?

She bit her lip looking at her then to him and back. She had no idea what to say or do. Luckily Talia would have moment to think as Megan's phone rang.

The dean on the other end seeming annoyed that she had not been returning his calls but also worried about her due to the weather. He had decided to give her the option of the psychologist Dr Blackwind had recommended or he would personally make her talk to Blackwind herself.

Then he asked her where she was, and when she answered you could hear his raised voice through the phone

Yes father, yes I will and I know I shouldn't have

Hanging up, she apologized for dropping by, kissing him she whispered

"I need some time too you know"

The tea is nearly ready and I have honey here for it? It is dark honey from the Greek wildflowers

Talia was trying to be nice to her anyway.

Sound delicious, that would be wonderful

Rick was already seated, and she curled in beside him

She knew she shouldn't be here, her father would be furious she had lingered but she was having fun

She intended to leave no doubt who her man belonged to, even though that type of demonstration was completely out of character for her

She got the tea and set it out before sitting down curling up in her chair.

I hope you like it

If what was happening bothered her Talia didn't show it she had learned a very solid poker face from dancing for whatever emotion or lack there of that was needed

Either Talia truly didn't care, or she was a great actress...Megan hoped to find out, and lay her claim

Please do let me know, if you are going to have a friend over or leave for a bit, I would love to have Rick back for a night

I'm sure he loves helping you, but I'm sure he misses a woman's touch to serve his needs

I I guess that would be up to him and Dr Blackwind after all Sheisthe one I am seeing as a patient.

She shrugged. If He wanted Togo or felt that he should to keep up appearances that was up to him

Rick looked at Megan, please don't bring that up again, you must have sensitivity for what she has gone through

Dr. Blackwind has made it clear, at least for now, I need to be here, and she should not be left alone...I will let you know if that changes

Rick stood up, "Megan, this has been a busy day, Talia has Dr. Blackwind tomorrow, I think it is probably best we say good night."

 

[Asa]

She just bit her lip watching him as he dealt with Megan.

It... it was nice to have company thank you, Megan.

She stood up, and looked at Talia

You were very gracious and I apologize for being insensitive, I was selfish but I should have thought before speaking

She turned to Rick and went on he toes, pressing in for a long kiss...he looked at Talia apologetically

I'm sure she understands, and yes, thank you for stopping by...I will give you a call tomorrow

As she left and closed the door, he turned and looked at Talia, he had no idea what she was thinking, but couldn't imagine it was anything good

She just walked over and smiled to him before walking into the kitchen far away from the front door or any risk of prying ears.

I do hope the dark greek honey was not too strong for her most Americans find it too strong.

He laughed, and followed her into the kitchen

Hmmm

My guess there were other dark, greek things that she found much more disconcerting

He ran his fingers through her dark, beautiful hair

She smiled looking at him.

Perhaps but have to be nice.

She turned towards the little wine fridge and grabbed a bottle of Chianti

He saw her grab the bottle of chianti

Absolutely, that sounds wonderful!

She just smiled at him and turned to grab a couple of wine glasses and wriggled past him headed to her room... their room. Megan might have tried to do a territory claim reminder but who was he going to be in bed with tonight? She smiled for the briefest moment on that. She wanted to feel bad for her but she also knew that he was just not right for Megan. He had passion and intensity and that was not the ice queen she just didn't want to accept it.

He smiled and watched her, god he loved watching her

He grabbed the wine opener, and took the bottle, popping the cork, letting it breathe

So I take it we are drinking this in the bedroom?

 

[Asa]

Why not? Is that a problem?

She was trying to get back to her and it was hard but something about that wilting violet popping up at her house she was in a way not pleased with that. She wasn't sure but she thought she might have heard the Dean threaten his daughter with Dr Blackwind which was a funny image.

He laughed

Oh it is most definitely not a problem...

He put his arm around her, and leaned down and kissed her

... other than we just have on way too many clothes!

She winked and leaned up to kiss him softly.

He returned her kiss, savoring it

She smiled and set down the glasses and wine.

He poured them each a glass

Handing it to her, kissing her softly as he did

She took the glass taking a drink with a smile.

So what should we do tonight?

He took a long sip of his wine

I'm up for anything, but given the crazy day, I thought we would stay in

But I am up for anything, I'm completely yours....just in case there was any doubt?
