I wasnt going to split the team from MCP but with Edward turned it makes the most sense afte all now its a team of super natural creatures with no real tie to the MCP who while not monster haters are all about control

sounds good to me. So will there be some sort of mechanism to alert the MPC or will the white wolf make an appearance at the hideout and see with her own eyes. I sort of implied that she might be afraid of Laz so that might be a thing we could use.

I was thinking she figured out what was going on Elaine would have no doubt told her how close Edward was to Lem and then once he went MIA she would have figure some how she finds out and kidnaps him which in his contact he actually says she can do they get involved and basically after a lengthy and cool adventure/ fight/ assault on MCP ect they get the A okay from the council to be their own thing or some thing along those lines shrugs

I want it to be kind of an avenger thing you know? Like how they are there own thing not really SHIELD

Alright. But I'm going to admit that I really am lost. I was pretty much just half reading all the stuff that didn't involve Quinn (I know it's dumb but homework sucks) and now I feel like I'm missing something. Lem turned Edward, and Jackie and Laz are together again. Jackie and Laz were looking for some dude who stole Jackie's gauntlet from the college, and the dude who stole it was super magical. I missed who the thief was. That's what I know, so just fill in the gaps? And I'm really sorry I haven't been paying attention. I promise to do better in the future.

As for the Templars, how about Gregor got pissed off with Jewel and killed her? Or maybe got too sadistic and killed her while they were in bed? And the Templars have been leaving us alone because they have something bigger to deal with. Maybe an internal power struggle, or maybe a prophecy of some kind? Maybe an actual profit of God has joined the ranks and is usurping Gregor's rule? Just spit balling here, tell me what you're thinking.

For the Templars how about they found a super weapon of some kind and that's why they've been away. They were working on getting this weapon and now that they have it they're comming for us. Maybe they attack the base and the white wolf ignores it because Edward was turned? So we're basically fighting Templars alone until we have to retreat and they level/take over our base. Does that sound good?

Alright guys I spent a major amount on my post setting up this conflict Grdy good job on your post! But to be honest it got me fired up. I love how confident and how you've made these girls ass kickers! But I want to bring them down a peg I like to think of this as the teams trail by fire moment the moment they truly become a team and realize they are all better off working together and in order to do that some of them need to be taken down a few pegs

(which I hope you dont mind)

So I kind of rushed things but to me it also makes the most sense after all the white wolf knows what she is dealing with she knows she has to strike hard and fast so thats what she is doing a coordinated strike on all of them

I hope you dont mind the orb thing Grdy it's merely a plot device used to put Laz in a position where her all powerful powers cant pull her out as for Lem this puts her in a position where some one she loves and has just started a life with is taken from her we are going to get deep here guys breaking more than a few characters and setting up the stages for what I am hoping is a action packed character driven chapter

My eventual thinking is that Jackie and Quinn sort of save the day by appeasing to the council I kind of see Jackie and Edward as the sort of Captain america Iron man of this team Jackie is the one who sets them up and Edward is the one who leads us in battle so to speak

I like it. I figured that's where you would go since Laz and Lem are such hard asses. And I agree that there attitude might not be suited for a team situation until they're pushed to rely on someone they might see as weaker than themselves. Enter Nicky . I figure since everybody is so concerned with Laz and Lem that they'll overlook the little human girl with talents even she didn't know she possessed. But don't worry it won't be anything that shuts down the plot, just gives the ladies a leg up, keeping them a step ahead. But not too far ahead. I want two of them to get a taste of vulnerability while Nicky comes to realize that she's just as capable as they are and almost as sure of herself.

So about Nicky's powers...after Laz's tweaks
her ability is actually the sensing of magic but she's only been able to access the first layer
she can cloak her abilities, effectively making her undetectable to magical beings...literally a ghost
spray paint makes awesome flame throwers lol...she might not be able to shoot or weild a blade but her precision painting comes in handy when the ladies find themselves backed into a corner

But even with her with them Laz and Lem are going to have to dial back their egos to work together.

Exactly There still going to be bad asses just bad asses who realize that even thy cant do every ting. I think relying on Nicky and to an extent Jackie to pull them out of the frying pan will make them a little more grounded.

I also am thinking that maybe Elaine ends up saving Laz from this orb thing

That might be a good twist of fate, seeing as that I've implied that at one time she and Elaine were as close as a teacher and student could be without crossing any lines. Perhaps a faculty adviser who saw promise in the young sorceress but couldn't get over the fact that she stole Jackie's attention.

I like it. This is next on my lit to-do list this morning

So when Laz teleports to get Edward and Don the orb is waiting along with enough people to make sure she gets put down they stupidly lock her up with the orb and Elaine appears they have a heart to heart and she destroys it though Laz is still weakened from the effect

Alright so i accidentally assumed the girls were gone from the HQ leaving Jackie and the Quinn to deal with the Alpha squad and Starkiller the dragon to deal with them

So the alpha sqaud is laying siege to the HQ Laz is already drained

what sort of weaknesses does the dragon hunter have that nicky could exploit to push past that half hour that Laz would be weakened? I figure she could distract him long enough for Lem to deal with the humans and the wizards then sneak off to find the guys while Laz recuperates, with Elaine's help of course. That way the showdown between Lem and Starkiller can be one on one.
