Today at work I was listning to my Audioslave CD and singing along to "Like A Stone" ... One of my co-workers happened to be listning in and then mentioned once the song was done, that I didn't have a bad singing voice at all.

I've never thought of myself as a good singer even though I do love to sing, so I was a bit surprised that someone honestly thought I was good.

Anyone else here have a "talent" that they don't think they really have but wished they did?

I wish I could sing...but I think that's boring....

Hmmm....I write, and everyone likes it, but I'm not so sure...wish I had more talent there, at least enough that I could do it for a living and survive....

I wish I could ice skate too :) Olympics would have to be on the lookout then :)

Yeah something like that..

A talent you think you have a little bit of (or maybe not at all) but wish you had more of.

Kinda like me and baseball.. I love to play when I can, but hitting the damn ball is something I can't do.

I'm pretty good on a pogo stick. I managed to jump up and down twice once before I lost my balance.
As for other skills, I'm pretty good at playing the stereo.

Mind reader..

Someone asked in a pm last night if I was still reading minds.. oh how that might be nice to do. Only if you could turn that function on and off, to only read the good stuff and never the bad. :D

I have too many to name. I guess I'd like to really be able to sing. I have a passable voice now, but nothing truly spectacuar.

This is probably going to be said a lot in this thread, but....

I wish I could sing better. Or at least had more confidence in how well I sing. I was in choir for 11 years and my sophomore year I made it to back row soprano. Which in the choir world means you are good enough and loud enough to be in the back. I just don't feel I sing that well. Then again I haven't sang in a choir for 5 years.

I'd like to be a better writer. I was talking to someone last week, and they told me "YOU ARE A WRITER", but I don't see it. it needs work, for sure.

I think alot of people wish that because music is such a big part of everyone's life. Songs are a great way to express ones self.

COPYCAT *meow*

;)

Nice to see ya again, Lo.

I wish I could whistle. The only whistle I can do involves using both my pinky fingers, and it's a rather loud, rather sharp wolf whistle. I wish I could be like those people who can whistle a tune, or just a soft whistle.

when I was younger, I was training in opera. I got very very ill, and have not been able to sing since then... some people say it's alright when I sing, but.. knowing what it was, I think it's terrible now.

I'd also love to be able to knit. Seriously... I wanna make funky sweaters for myself.

I want to be able to shoot a 3-pointer in basketball.. never been able to do it.

I want to learn to count cards.
