For those of you who take trolling comments personally and let them get to you.
In my Summer contest story an anymouse(aren't they all) troll commented they didn't like the story-which is fine-and said they haven't liked anything I've done and I'm obviously phoning it in.
After I read it, something clicked and the muse started whispering. "Hmm, phoning it in. Mom son story. Mom fooling around with the son and dad calls and mom talks to him while still fooling around....mom...Mom phones it in!
I then went off and wrote about 6200 words on the fly on that premise and it went up on Sunday with a note with the back story. Mr anymouse who obviously does not like my work now knows he's responsible for me releasing another story.
As a bonus, I got one of those scorned men loving wives whiners commenting because of the 'infidelity' and watched a couple of other readers mock him.
That's my method of handling trolls, don't ignore them, feed them. I can guarantee they aren't going to like the taste.
