Take your contact lenses out, folks.

Reminds me of the guy who was given a transdermal medication. The doctor told him to put on a new patch every six hours, and see him in two weeks.

They guy came back two weeks later, covered in patches from head to toe. "Doc, I'm running out of places to put them!"

That sounds like a bad joke.

I can't do contacts. Can't touch them to my eye to get them in. It all stems from an incident when I was working nights. Another nurse couldn't find her contact and it had gone partially behind her eye. Gross:eek:

I've just recently gone back to using them.

The thread does remind me that I need new glasses. I mean along with the daily problem of not being able to see shit.
I hate getting new glasses. They try amd force progressives on me but I fucking hate them. I end up not wearing them and therefore not being able to see and the circle of life continues.

I'm with ya!! Crazy things!

How can you forget to take off your lenses when you know you are wearing them? I understand when it happened once, but not so many times. The most important thing when you wear lenses is to respect hygiene and not to wear them too much. Of course, there are lenses you can sleep in, but you anyway should make sure to take them off because you can traumatize your eyes.
I was lucky when it was Halloween and I wore yellow cat eye contact lenses. I drank some alcohol, didn't take off my lenses and fell asleep in them. I'm glad I didn't suffer anything.
