Ask the mods, and it's kind of at their discretion. You can edit all of your old posts, so you can go back and remove any incriminating information. Incriminating text will be preserved if other people quoted it, obviously, but you can at least remove attachments and links to external images (which you might want to take down/rehost...as people may have quoted the links to those as well).
