Ok this has been bugging me for a long while. I am not posting to anyone in particular and some of the offenders are people I like very much so please know I am trying to be constructive here.

This is an adult message board. Everyone here is supposed to be an adult. Everyone here needs to act like one. What you post here is YOUR responsibility. What is posted to you is for YOU to deal with.

Laurel and Manu own and opperate this site, but they are not beholden to any of us. We do not pay them. They are not responsible for fixing our fuckups or making the bad people go away.

This site is supposed to be a place where adults can go to express themselves with total freedom. The includes saying things others don't want to hear. You can fight them, you can ignore them, but they have the same rights to be here you do.

Personally there are people on this board I would love to see disappear forever, but I will never call for anyone's banning.

Personally I've said things on this board I wish I hadn't, but I said them and I am responsible for them.

As adults we make decisions, we also have the right to change our minds and reverse decisions. Personally, I've posted things I wish I hadn't , if anyone wants to waste their time going back and resurrect them, good luck! To me it's ancient history and I sure wouldn't spend a lot of time worrying about it. Kind of the old "water under the bridge" school of thought.

I agree with you .. but many individuals feel the need to create a whole new persona because in their everyday life things are not going to well so they decide that maybe creating an alterego on the internet will provie them with a "life". Hence many lie and go on a craze rampage but then reality comes along and kicks them in the ass.

I hear you when you want the "whinning " to stop , at times I read certain threads and all I see is some major ass whining coming from the thread starter and I am thinking to myself " Can't you see how whiny you look ?!?". But , alas not everyone sees what I see ... so to each his own. And, maybe I have even been one of those whiny thread starters...

I have been noticing that I am more careful as to what I post , because there are somethings that just should not be posted.


In conclusion , people should realize that they should take responsibility for their own actions and realize that they are posting on an ADULT web site.
Just my honest opinion.

Very true, but I could care less if you want to whine about your life. I may comment on it, but that's all.

This is more about expecting others to clean up your messes or shelter you from ickyness.
