Tatar Fries, Hush Puppies and Catfish,
Has to be my favorite Dish.
With peach cobbler for desert.
I'll Eat untill I hurt.

Sit on the porch and spread a yarn.
Watch the sun go down behind the barn.
Swaying on the front porch swing.
One of my favorite things.

Loosen up my over-alls
As the sun finally falls.
Hear the bells ring on the cows coming home.
From their day in the pasture they roam.

The chickens cluck in hungry haste.
Tomorrow one of them I will taste.
Guess thats why the rooster crows.
When the sun starts to arose.

Near the pond the ducks all quack.
As me and my love one hit the sack.
Saturday night we'll go to the dance.
Ain't life grand on the ranch.
