Where to put your "Comma,"...I have a
Handfull of stories that are pending...and
rejected. So I used their...(Volunteer editing)
and got the stories back and they still rejected
them for "Grammer." Read about Commas and
proper writeing...I believe that the majority of
people come to lit to play in the forums...and
when they read a story there not concerned
rather the comma is in the right place...perhaps
if It were published professional, then perhaps.
I can see it ...Ill be reading along and see this

seriously trying to figure out a good story and

Most of you have read my stuff. And know I
am not the best at commas and periods....well
Im good about periods... I USE MORE THAN MY

Dr. M said it best...writeing is an Art form...and the
Artist should feel free to write in their own way...
If the reader doesnt like it they dont have to read it.

When I write...My little fingers cant type as fast
as I think this stuff up...and to go back over it
and over it and over it...kills the joy...and doesnt
express the way I thought when I wrote it......
sound frustrated do I??? well try reading all their
guidelines and proper writing techiniques and see
if it doesnt detour you from writing...I love lit...
dont get me wrong...But I see poems and stories
that are not proper and Im not bothered by it...
(which reminds me.)..one hint was to read what
they call the Editors choice stories..(the ones with
an E next to them) so I did...and found flaws with
them ..to many to mention...but I didnt hate the
story for it...not to mention I cant figure out why
their favorites when I have read much better on

Was also told if I make waves Ill suffer the
consequences...well I had fear surgicaly removed
along time ago...I tried and will continue to try
and conform to what is proper...so that I can grow
as a writer...just as I spew joy in words ..I have
now exposed frustration...

I would deeply and truely love your views on this
topic...not that we can change any thing...just so
my mind knows..that I can make people smile with
words...proper or not...

I love to write but find it tedious going back over correcting things, but I do it anyway since I've had it drilled into me since childhood that if it's not correct it's not acceptable. Sorry to hear you've had some stories rejected, I had my first one rejected because I forgot that damn rule about every new speaker has to be on a new line. It made my paragraphs uneven which annoyed me far more than having it done incorrectly. Needless to say I took the rejection personally and ran and hid. Might resubmit soon though if I get motivated.

On the issue of reading stories on Lit that contain errors, I have to say it usually bugs me. lol.......... I'm always tempted to rewrite them. Usually for phrasing and word usage though not for punctuation.
