She has a great deal of tolerance and quite a bit of patience, and man does she need it to be my friend!
Oh and about Jersey. I used to live there...on Brigantine island next to Atlantic City. Okay, "The Garden State" or "Concrete Jungle"? "Both", I say. All along the Parkway, in North Jersey, you'll catch glipses through the thick growth, into nieghborhood, and yes lot's of gardens. At night deer graze all along the highway, and it really makes you realize that there has to be a nice thick green area somewhere around here for all these deer to be haning in during the day. Besides, Pennsylvania is right over there, and man is that a green state! (love it, Alleghany region is fantasitc)
Anyway, yeah, there are some pretty bad areas in Jersey, but what state doesn't have that problem? I had to do research on wastland and brownfield restoration, and Jersey is the state that is doing the most reclaiming, and not in terms of need... just effort. Louisianna is next, but places that are much worse off, like parts of L.A. and Oakland (more north, for those who don't know Cali.), even parts of Kansas, and the midwest, have huge problemed areas, where industrial pollution and wastes have ravaged lands, that could be cleaned up and decontaminated, are falling behind in the race to make our cities and towns what they should be, for people and wildlife.
At the school where I am getting a 2 year degree (I am going to two schools) they offer Environmental management and hazardous waste clean up and management. There are a lot of people in and going into these areas because job demand is increaseing. I will one of the biologists who comes into a cleaned up site, and helps determine and fullfill habitat restoration if lands are turned into greenspace.
Anyway, Within 10 years, N.J. will far surpass the beauty of some areas of Eastern Massachusettes, which are now quite nice, yet surrounded by shitty run down towns, like Tingsbrough and whatnot...
Back to Tabby. Just cause when she tawlks, she sounds likw she doesn't know classy shit and cultured people, and that she still would wear acid washed jeans and feather her hair (sorry if you do, I am just playing around here) and listens to Bon Jovi, doesn't mean she is a very scary Tabby.
