Has anybody here done this has part of their workout routine? Does it really make a difgerence in fat burn and cardiovascular fitness?

Tabata was the brand of neoprene bootie I first used when I started whitewater boating. They were about the only thing available up this way in 1981.
Bootie? You must have been serious
 
Tabata protocols will kick your ass, particularly the first few times you try them.

They do wonders for your cardio endurance, though.

This is what I've heard. Right now I'm graduating up to it. The 20/10 x8 was too much for me right off the bat.

The first two times I did them I actually finished them but came as close as I've come to puking after exercise since two-a-day August football practices in the Georgia sun many, many years ago. I had no idea you could get blown up so fast.
