Sweet Syndra, poet nereid by the sea
whose drowsy dreams of seals and shifting sands
awaken in the words she speaks and we
can hear the music carried in her hands
from rocky shores along a western coast
where dolphins splash and nimble divas dance
into our mundane world. Our tea and toast
become a feast of senses, not by chance
but choice, her gift of changing words to song
that is the pleasure born within the shell
of muse and is the measure of a strong
woman ringing poems to readers, a bell
or the wind. If you listen you can hear
the ocean there, smell the salt, taste the tear.

At a bar up at Salisbury beach
we are the only 3 guys in the place and we are swilling beers.
we go to use the bathroom and it's 25 cents to get in...not the toilet
25 cents to get INTO the bathroom
and in there theres only one toilet and a sink
so we pay the first couple of times...then we figure " Hey..we're spending 10's of dollars here and we shouldn't have to pay to take a leak"

so we drop a quarter, 3 of us go in, and...read the sig line

The Ducks! Amphibious busses, sort of. Very lame.

Come to the Kalahari sometime and surf, ride a water coaster, float on tubes, twist your toes into cement beaches and tan under flourescent lamps. And hardly anyone pees in the water.
