On that note, Scully's home city is Drakeport. Established several hundred years ago as a military outpost, it became a trading post after the war and grew swiftly from there. It gets its name from the fact that several species of drakes migrate through the area every year, staying close to the warm winds coming off of the coast.

This tiny iron cage shaped like a heart is just big enough to place a small item inside, at first it appears to be a locket of some kind, but its use is far from such a mundane trinket.

By placing a small gemstone worth at least 50 gold per HD inside the cage, then pressing it to a dead creature, the creature can be animated as per the spell 'animate dead'

A little grizzly, but an undead butler/pet should be fun.

I want to wait for kat before posting, but if she doesn't escape and go streaking around the room, its unlikely Tarik will release her into Scully's care.

a) he can't get the shirt on her without flashing her boobs at the room

b) he doesn't know Scully's intentions are honourable, wheras his own are.

We could also play it as a point of tension between Tarik and Scully. Tarik may have been willing to give Scully the benefit of the doubt before, but now he's starting to wonder just what the dagger-flinging scoundrel is so intent on hiding. It's not as if Scully has been showing himself to be anything other than a roguish ne'er-do-well with a disregard for rules and those silly concepts like modesty and humility.

Tarik isn't worried about Scully's past - its his immediate future that concerns him

Of course, Kat, with her very high levels of persuasion and acting, could probably convinve Tarik that she isn't as drunk as she looks and is perfectly fine, please don;t interfere. That might be one way of geting around the "impasse" - if she appears to be consenting rather than totally drunk, of course Tarik won't get in her way.

Figured it was two rounds, with sancturay being cast in the first - I did mention verbal and somatic components, too, (near the top of the post) and will edit in a mention of his holy symbol if you like.
