snatched the Iraqi declaration of weapons and sites from the hands of the UN (putting pressure on Columbia, the President of the Security Council) and now has full control on who sees what.

If anything shows that this is a phony 'war' concocted by George, that does. Now the US will be able to change whatever they want in the document.

As neither America nor the UK has produced their 'evidence' yet, despite protests from the UN and the Weapons Inspectors, it looks as though another generation of young people are about to be sacrificed at the whim of the politicians. And for what?...

Profit pure and simple.

This is going to be a ground war where the invading armies will have to fight tooth and nail to reach Baghdad...

I have, on multiple occasions.

I haven't heard anything about this theft of the documents from the U.N. All I've heard is that they get a copy, other countries get copies, and we get copies. Considering that we'll be taking that document and ripping it apart, we have nothing to gain by having a sneak peek at the expense of the rest of the world. Even if we are, considering it's our cities that stand to be in danger, and our troops who will take the brunt of the action, I don't see why it's so horrifying that we're taking immediate initiative in the planning stages.

My guess is that the two versions will be translated differently and Bush's goons will claim their translation is right (and convienently creative in it's 'claims' of WoMD. Arabic is a bitch to translate with any consistency - remember the hassles over all the Osama tapes? And all the different translations?
