Is there a way to do this? I published a story 'Whore: n,' and I swear there was no category option for non-erotic available on the submission form, or I somehow missed it, because I went up and down the list, and my story didn't fit any, which I mentioned in my notes to the moderator. I chose 'romance', but it was switched somehow to erotic couplings (which it certainly is not).

How would I switch it to non-erotic?

Laurel seems to protect writers from posting non-romantic material in Romance, where stories get a rough reception when the romance readers think they don't belong.

You can't move the story yourself. You will need to PM Laurel about the process. When I did that a couple years ago it was a two-step process. She took it down (out of Romance) for me, then I made some edits and re-posted it to EC. When you repost stories they usually do not appear on the 'New' list or category hub.

Thank you.

Hi
I had to do this with my stories, as they were hard to classify and i decided to move them to Novels and Novellas.
All I did was resubmit them with the new category, and a note in the box saying what I was doing.
They were back up, in the new category, within 3-4 days, as usual.
None of the votes or comments were lost in the process.

Hope this helps.
