Definitely not made up...we attend some fun parties quite regularly and if there are lots in the UK then I imagine there will be a proportionate number in the US, you just have to know where to look for them...Google swinger sites...some are great, some not so great and you have to pay for any useful functionality such as sending messages on the majority of them but they're the best way of finding out what's happening local to you...
