Swing Clubs. I am curious.
The opportunity to go along, was mentioned to me a few days ago and now I have a dozen or more questions. I also mentioned it to my SO, who didn't scoff at the idea either, although he wants me to find out more about it.
Has anyone here had experience with these clubs? (Im guessing there's at least a few. LOL)
Was it a positive experience?/ would you do it again?/ etc.
Any input would be great.

It is an established club where you can only enter if you go with 'members'. You can either stay with your partner or participate in groups of your choice....
From what I've been told there can be a large number of people attend.
There are separate rooms for different activities..............
Anyone experienced this?

I've been to ones where you pay for a membership and it's not exclusive. They were fun, but I only wanted to be with the person I came there with- I didn't many people who were there all that attractive.

I prefer screened groups.

Well, there's one in my area where they have theme events at different places. Some of the events are "take out" (nothing sexual on-premises) and some are "eat-in" (a free for all). You don't have to be a member for the take out events, but you have to be screened and become a member for the eat-in events.

I'm not a member, but I went to a take out event and many of the members were there so it was cool.

It was a hugh house with lots of bed space.

I thought it was interesting. You have to be very outgoing though to be able to get involved. That is why it didn't work out for me. I am not as outgoing in r/l.

I am fairly outgoing but suddenly feel very selfconscious LOL.
Now Im curious about the kind of rules etc .... I guess it varies from place to place....

Some couples would swap with one or more couples. Some women would grab another woman. You see a little bit of everything. And there were some people out in the open, and some behind closed doors.

And doing pretty much whatever they wanted to do within the rules set by the people.

That is one thing also, make sure you set rules with your SO as to what is and is not allowed to be done. (ie- will you play in the same room together, is oral allowed on others, even will you play with others.) Make sure you communicate. That is #1.

A helpful site to me was http://www.clubadventure.org/ . It was in my area. I would suggest going on www.google.com and finding out if the club you are going to has a site. Each club is different. But this is a way of helping you become a little more relaxed about it.

And don't worry, most people are a little nervous.

You might want to check out www.nasca.com; it would be a great place for you to find all sorts of info about the various permutations of lifestyle clubs.

I've been to both a private on-premise "house party", a very exclusive private home, about 30 couples, anything goes, no single males; and an off-premise lifestyle club here in Jacksonville held at a local hotel bar. Both have their merits.

I agree with FoxyWench. Set rules AHEAD of time with your SO, communication is KEY if you are going to be involved in this lifestyle. Understand what "soft swing" & "full swap" means BEFORE you go out. Do some surfing through some of the swingers sites...you can google them. Alot of them have great FAQs that will give you the lowdown on the terminology and some great tips about what the "culture" is about.

The golden rule to remember though, is that NO always means NO, and this should NEVER be taken as a slight by any person in this lifestyle.

Well it finally happened
Had the most fantastic night - ended up staying for 5 and a half hours!!! Great place with great hosts! Will be going back for sure! And hubbys only worry was getting a carpark! LOL!

Hubby & I only wanted to stick with each other this night. I dont know how far we will go as yet....I think it was just the totally relaxed atmosphere which was so awesome. Being able to play with each other and/or watching and being watched is a great turn on....
There were also free condoms everywhere and the rules were laid out when we got the tour of the place from the owner.... great set up and no aggro whatsoever.
