Story outline.
Couple in very early forties, Brad and Carly. Sexually liberated up to a point, he knows she cybers in daytime. Has watched her at night too, using cam, watching guys jack off, and getting off herself.
They have both had sex outside of the marriage, and are aware of each others affairs. Last year they almost had a 3some, with an old schoolfriend of Carly`s, but she chickened out at the last minute.
Now, after much discussion and thought, they have discovered online, a local swingers club. They are going to attend for the first time tonight.

I am looking for two ladies, and one man to start with, these threads can be overpowered by too many posters I feel.
We can maybe add another couple later.
Not thinking BDSM, just straightforward swinging. But, I dont want people stripping off and fucking by post #.

It needs to be handled realistically, with both Brad and Carly having doubts, and holding back. Wondering what the other thinks.
Couple #2 will be club members, who will introduce Brad and Carly to what happens at the club, and also what CAN happen.

If interested, please post here, maybe even a bio, and how you think the story should progress.

And please, no "short" posters, be thoughtful, and as realistic as possible.

Married Couple, met at the swingers club, so they've been swinging their whole marriage. Dave is 5-10 with short brown hair and blue eyes. Beth has also has short hair but its darker than Dave's and her eyes are a light, inviting blue.

As veteran members of the swingers club, they often watch for new couples coming in for the first time. Dave is in better than average shape, so he sometimes takes it upon himself to politely ask the single men that come in to leave.

Brad and I had an open marriage, and both of us played around a bit but never together and always told each other where we were and who we were with afterward. we didnt consider it cheating and it was nice to avoid the sneaking and lying about it. We just had our guys night out and girls night out and I even fixed him up with several of my friends.

When the website for the swingers club was discovered, we agreed to try it out. The idea of watching him get it on with another lady turned me on but I didnt know how he would feel about seeing me getting laid. Maybe he would get jealous or mad but it was something we could do together

We drove to the hotel not saying much but when we arrived, I kissed him and told him I loved him, and I hoped he would have fun tonight.

Ok, we have our team of players now {see first post}.
Rock informed me that Sutherncumfrt will post tonight.
I am in the UK, so her post will be as I sleep.
I am normally around to post from 8am EDT, through till about 6pm.
Although at the moment, with you altering your clocks early, that is 9 thru 7 I figure.

As I said in the initial post, I want Brad and Carly to both have doubts about this. Of course we all know that they will go through with it, but it will not be simple.
I will start the thread Thursday, and PM a link to you all.
My initial post will be a setting of the ground rules for Carly and Brad. As in what to do if they get uncomfortable in a situation, etc. etc..
It may take 2 or 3 posts to place us in the club, where Dave and Beth will introduce themselves to the prospective new members.

If you have any ideas, suggestions, this is the place to post and discuss.

I am sure we will have fun, and hopefully at some stage, increase to 6 players.

To be honest, it does concern me when you say

I do not post often and am sometimes slow to post.

That is fine if it is only two people posting, but here we will have a minimum of four, and hopefully six later on. One person not posting regularly, can slow the whole thing down, which in turn can lead to frustration.

What do others feel? And please, do not be afraid to speak frankly.

It shouldnt concern you that I am a slow poster. I work nights and sometimes I dont always log onto Lit. I do post when I log on if there is a need for it. I do not mind having my character moved around by others as long as it is done tastefully. I dont want to create concern this early.

Having looked at todays posts, maybe this needs re-iterating.

what happens at the club, and also what CAN happen.

They should both be voicing inner doubts, and I feel they would sit together talking as a group of four for quite awhile. While Dave and Beth explained procedures etc.

I hope my post is okey. I can edit it and rewrite it. I was also under that impression that there would be more self doubt and hesitation and more dialogue. I like the idea so far. Just let me know if I need to edit my post!

Not happy

The thread is not going as I envisaged, and I thought that we had agreed.

4 people, Myself & Carly, Beth and Dave.

With myself and Carly both being nervous and unsure.
At this moment, before we left the club that is.
Carly has introduced a new character and her husband, which is far too early.
I did say maybe two more later on.


That is why I have taken myself and Carly out of the club,
we need to discuss it here, and get it right I feel.

I hadn't read the OOC thread and I apologize for that. I will make a note to check it for information.

I wouldn't explain away Carly's actions just yet. She may have been going hard for Dave as a way of dealing with her nervousness. Rather than change the way a writer is writing and developing his or her character, I have found that it is better for a writer to use his or own character to express the concerns that he or she may have in that way. If a writer's character develpment is stunted in the beginning, it will spell trouble later in the thread.

It's good to have a general idea of how you want a thread to progress, but other writers have been invited in to contribute their creativity. Rather than move along toward a pre-determined conclusion, let the mulitple creative forces of all the writers come up with a unique combination.

Just my thoughs.
