Swindle

Democrats have faith, that the Swindle will face the justice of the Courts of Law.

Let us hope that "Moscow Mitch" McConnell's corruption has not killed them.

Murder is Part of the Swindle

"We should soundly reject language coming out of the mouths of any of our
leaders that feeds a climate of fear and hatred or normalizes racist sentiments;

"Leaders who demonize those who don’t look like us, or suggest that other
people, including immigrants, threaten our way of life, or refer to other people
as sub-human, or imply that America belongs to just one certain type of people …
It has no place in our politics and our public life. And it’s time for the over-
whelming majority of Americans of goodwill, of every race and faith and
political party, to say as much – clearly and unequivocally."

Watch CBS News try to normalize Trump
after white nationalist terror attack

August 6, 2019

In a Twitter clip that has been viewed nearly 2 million times,
CBS Evening News anchor Norah O'Donnell talked with
White House reporter Weijia Jian. The two proceeded to
give Trump credit for the comments he read off a tele-
prompter, and noted how quickly he supposedly
condemned the attack.

JIAN:
We had to wait some time in the past after similar instances.
You'll remember in Charlottesville, after a white supremacy
rally violence broke out, and initially the president said there
were very fine people on both sides of the conflict. And after
advisers, lawmakers, and Americans were in his ear urging
him to condemn white supremacy, he did that ultimately.
This is different, you are right. He immediately came out
and said this country would not stand for it. He said they
are outraged and sickened by this monstrous evil.

First off, Trump’s NRA-approved speech that CBS was so
impressed with actually sounded like it was written by a
gaggle of White House interns found wandering the hallways
that morning. Perfunctory and often insipid, the address was
the absolute least that Trump could have done as president.
At a time of tragedy, when the nation turns to its leaders for
words of wisdom and comfort, Trump offered up a jumbled
word salad.

("Mental illness and hatred pulls the trigger, not the gun.")

Second, Trump did not "immediately" denounce white supremacy
in the wake of the El Paso mass murder, which occurred on Saturday.
Trump waited two entire days. And during those two days while the
victims were being identified, Trump spent his time on Twitter
complaining about China's trade policy and whining about how
badly he was being treated by the press. Thirdly, that neo-Nazi rally
in Charlottesville didn't simply result in "violence": A peaceful protester
was murdered.

NRA is gratified- Mass murders prompted people to buy
more guns.

NRA is part of the Trump Alliance

Trump already signaled to the gun lobby that they shouldn’t
worry in his public statement Monday when he said, “Mental
illness and hatred pulls the trigger, not the gun.” That’s why
one senior GOP lawmaker told Politico, “There aren’t many
Republicans who trust that the president won’t change his mind”
on background checks. They know he’s not telling the truth
about what he’ll support.

All up to their necks, in it.

The I.C.E. raids ?

Swindle.

Just like the last batch of raids.

Disrupt lives, put everyone in tears and fear.

These raids are not based on capturing dangerous violent criminals,
drug dealers, smugglers, people that deal in human trafficking.
These raids are meant to terrorize the workers into submission.
It is a punishment meted out by the Orange Horror, through
I.C.E. The workers dared to ask that their pay not be stolen, that
their work places be safe, and that the women and men not be
subject to physical abuse, sexual harrassment, and rapes.

(Mississippi protective services, child protective services,
they were not alerted in advance. Schools were not warned
the children would be stranded on their first day at school.)

Capture a handful of human beings, to torment and abuse.

Pull every dirty and illegal trick in the book,
in an effort to deport them.

Real police officers rejected I.C.E. scumbags, when all of this started.

I.C.E pulled decent community members away from family members,
coworkers, colleagues team members, supporters.

I.C.E officers get a paycheck for behaving as if they were Trump's gestapo.
(Sent to bully immigrants, because Trump's campaign contributors asked
for help in kicking the workers in the guts. High profit margins are important
to greedy people.)

Why were the workers terrorized by I.C.E. ?
They are organizing, and lobbying for safer working conditions.

AMY GOODMAN: I’m looking at ThinkProgress, an article they wrote.
They said, “As labor reporter Mike Elk notes at Payday Report, it may
not be a coincidence that the Morton plant was raided. There have been
at least two other plants, one in Salem, Ohio, and another in Morristown,
Tennessee, where ICE raids have followed complaints of worker conditions.
Last year, for example, [OSHA] the Occupational Safety and Health
Administration fined Fresh Mark over $200,000 for three separate incidents
in which proper safety guards were not in place in its Salem meatpacking plant.
A week later, it was raided by ICE.”

headquartered near Chicago and has no relation to the multinational

plant produces more than 700,000 tons of poultry feed each year.

Its owner, Joseph Grendys, is worth $3.3 billion, Forbes estimates.

“EEOC alleges that supervisors touched and/or made sexually

other adverse actions after complaining.”

Peco Foods, based in Tuscaloosa, Ala., has been family-owned

Swindled out of the truth

Since taking office, Trump has made more than
12,000 false or misleading statements, according
to the Washington Post’s count.

The (Washington) Post reports:

Trump crossed the 10,000 mark on April 26, and he has been
averaging about 20 fishy claims a day since then. From the
start of his presidency, he has averaged about 13 such claims
a day.

About one-fifth of these claims are about immigration, his
signature issue — a percentage that has grown since the
government shut down over funding for his promised wall
along the U.S.-Mexico border. In fact, his most repeated claim —
190 times — is that his border wall is being built. Congress balked
at funding the concrete barrier he envisioned, so he has tried to
pitch bollard fencing and repairs of existing barriers as ‘a wall.’ ...

Trump has falsely claimed 186 times that the U.S. economy today
is the best in history. He began making this claim in June 2018,
and it quickly became one of his favorites.

It has been a life-long habit of Trumpypants to cultivate visions of expectations,
and then violate them.

In the back of American's minds, there was a doubt that Trumpypants
would deliver a human-like performance, in person, at the sites of the
mass murders.

He had not explicitly promised to.
Then, again, he is such a liar,
No one would be surprised, if Trumpypants
went back on his word.

He promised to be presidential, a long time, ago. As his handmaiden explained
to the parts of America that had not converted to Trumpism, everything he does
is presidential, because he is President. (I will reply, "Oh, no, he is not
the president that America voted for.) He was presidential, but only
to those that attended his Hate Rally.)

During his televised address on Monday, however, Trump
condemned white supremacy, saying "hate has no place in
our country." The president added that the shootings were
evidence of "mental illness and hatred," as he attempted to
strike a rare bipartisan tune.

"We are a loving nation, and our children are entitled to
grow up in a just, peaceful and loving society," he said.
Together, we lock arms to shoulder the grief. We ask God
in heaven to ease the anguish of those who suffer, and we
vow to act with urgent resolve."

"These barbaric slaughters are an assault upon our communities,
and attack upon our nation and a crime against all humanity.
are outraged and sickened by this monstrous evil, the cruelty,
the hatred, the malice, the bloodshed and the terror," he added.
America weeps for the fallen."

"Now is the time to set destructive partisanship aside and find
the courage to answer hatred with unity, devotion and love.
America will rise to the challenge. We always have, and we
always will win. The choice is ours and ours alone. It is not
up to mentally-ill monsters — it is up to us," Trump said.

"If we are able to pass great legislation after all of these years,
we will ensure that those attacks will not have died in vain."

(trumpypants) Donald (Duncecap) Caves To Embattled
NRA CEO, Takes Background Checks Off The Table

The Atlantic reports:

On August 7, the president picked up the phone to discuss the
idea with Wayne LaPierre, chief executive of the National
Rifle Association. “It’s going to be great, Wayne,” Trump said,
according to both a former senior White House official and an
NRA official briefed on the call. “They will love us.” And if
they—meaning the roughly 5 million people who make up
the NRA’s active membership, and some of Trump’s electoral base—
didn’t, Trump reportedly assured LaPierre, “I’ll give you cover.”
(The White House did not return a request for comment for this story.)

“Wayne’s listening to that and thinking, Uh, no, Mr. President,
we give you cover,” the former senior White House official said
in describing the conversation. The president reportedly asked
LaPierre whether the NRA was willing to give in at all on back
ground checks. LaPierre’s response, the sources said, was unequivocal:
“No.” With that, “the Rose Garden fantasy,” as the NRA official
described it to me, was scrapped as quickly as it had been dreamed up.

"Trump is set to blow up the G-7. In so doing, he’ll reveal the worst"

- Greg Sargent

Trump will proclaim his “America First” agenda a smashing success,
and throw that in the faces of our European allies.

Yet behind the scenes, such bravado is a lot harder to find.

Top White House advisers notified President Trump earlier this month
that some internal forecasts showed that the economy could slow markedly
over the next year, stopping short of a recession but complicating his path
to reelection in 2020.

The private forecast, one of several delivered to Trump and described
by three people familiar with the briefing, contrasts sharply with the
triumphant rhetoric the president and his surrogates have repeatedly
used to describe the economy.

This juxtaposition, between Trump’s planned public display at
the G-7 and his advisers’ private economic terrors, is striking.
It shows that Trump’s appearance will in reality demonstrate
that the very nationalist agenda he will be touting is, thus far,
a record of deep fraudulence and failure, covered up with lies.

The risk of recession is uncomfortably high and rising.

President Donald Trump’s trade war is the proximate cause of
what ails the economy. Indeed, if the president follows through
on his most recent threat to raise tariffs on Chinese imports,
the odds of a downturn between now and this time next year
are better than even.

The economy’s growth has already slowed sharply.

Real GDP and job growth have throttled way back from
this time last year, and unemployment is no longer declining.

The slowdown is due, in part, to the winding down of the
deficit-financed tax cuts. The president had argued that the tax cuts,
which went mostly to corporations and wealthy households,
would significantly lift long-term growth. Not so.
The stimulus from the tax cuts has already faded.

Had Trump been intelligent enough to leave well enough alone,
he just might have eked out re-election solely by running on the
resilient economy he inherited from President Obama. The tax cuts
he passed for the nation’s wealthiest also provided a temporary shot
of adrenaline that might just have lasted long enough to avoid the
cyclical (and historically normal) downturn that always loomed
on the horizon.

Mike Pence's Ireland Swindle 2019

Instead of going directly to Dublin, Pence flew into Shannon Airport,
where he used an airport lounge for a meeting with Ireland’s foreign
affairs minister, then spent the night in Doonbeg before driving and

Pence’s political action committee, the Great America Committee,
spent about $87,000 putting on an event at the Trump International
Hotel in Washington in January.

Pence has visited Doonbeg before. In 2013, he and his family
traveled to the small town, where Hugh McNally, a distant
cousin of the vice president, runs Morrissey’s pub.

Pence is scheduled to return to Morrissey’s, also known
as Morrissey’s Bar & Restaurant, Tuesday evening after
returning from Dublin. Trump’s sons, Don Jr. and Eric,
visited the pub in early June. It is a short drive from the
Trump property.

What are his connections to Ireland?

Mr Pence has roots in both Tubbercurry, Co Sligo
and Doonbeg Co Clare, where coincidently US
President Donald Trump owns a golf club and hotel.
The vice-president’s grandfather Richard Michael Cawley –
who was a member of the Irish Free State’s army emigrated
to the US in 1923. Some of Mr Pence’s great grandparents
emigrated to the US from Co Clare in the late 19th Century.

The excuses are evolving-

Pence's chief of staff said they chose the hotel because
the Secret Service was already familiar with it.

Vice President Pence’s top aide said Tuesday that Pence
and members of his traveling entourage are staying at
a golf resort in Ireland owned by President Trump at
Trump’s suggestion. But he defended an arrangement
that Democrats have criticized as enriching the president,
citing logistical concerns.

Marc Short, Pence’s chief of staff, told reporters traveling
with Pence aboard Air Force Two that the Trump International
Golf Links & Hotel was “the one facility” that could accommodate
the size of the delegation traveling with Pence in Doonbeg, a village
from which Pence’s family hails. The hotel has 120 rooms.

CREW obtained the contracts from the State Department and
learned that taxpayers ponied up $599,454.36 just for the
limousines used to ferry the Pence family back and forth
across Ireland.

And for the record, the Doonbeg stay wasn’t the first time
Mike Pence has directly helped Donald Trump’s bottom line:

According to a recent CREW report, he is one of the most

businesses at least 20 times. Additionally, political groups linked

The Trump Administration Is Canceling California's GI Bill
Approval Power, But The State Is Fighting Back

- Libby Denkmann

For-profit schools are limited in the share of their revenue that's
allowed to come from federal student aid programs. Currently,
90 percent may be drawn from public sources. The remaining
10 percent must be from the private sector.

On a technicality, GI Bill payments do not count as federal aid
— so for-profit schools can tally them along with the 10-percent
private funding
source requirement.

In other words, for every student veteran enrolled using
the GI Bill, for-profits can sign up nine non-veteran
students.

Advocates say this creates a predatory environment where
veterans are sold a bill of goods to attend a school and later
get stuck with debt they can't afford.

"This loophole is ridiculous and their accounting gimmick
has to be shut down," said Carrie Wofford, president of
Veterans Education Success, an advocacy group that
conducts research, lobbies legislators, and works with
states' attorneys general on legal actions to protect student
veterans.

As of June, Trump still owed at least ten cities hundreds of thousands
of dollars for rallies held since early 2016, according to the Center
for Public Integrity. The biggest outstanding bill is from El Paso,
Texas, where Trump held a rally in February to whip up fear of
migrants. As of last week, the campaign still owed El Paso
$560,000 after the city “provided security, some aviation
assistance and busing,” the El Paso Times reports.
Also last week, the Trump campaign and the RNC

for trying to force it to pay $530,000 for security during this week's rally.

City officials told the Target Center, which is managed by AEG,
that it would be responsible for paying the costs. The center then
allegedly tried to pass the bill on to Trump's team and told them
they would not be able to use the arena unless they agreed to the
charges.

The Trump campaign said in the statement that if the city does not

Minneapolis does not have a contract with the Trump campaign.

To what purpose ?

Putin desires chaos, conflict, disharmony, stressful conditions, division, insecurity,
rivalry, and fragmentation.

The solid united democratic front, opposing Putin under President Obama is gone.

The solid democratic front in the maimed UK, has splintered under Boris Johnson.

Jimmy Carter cried out that the USA is not an oil whore.

Arab oil producers cut off exports to the U.S. to protest American
military support for Israel in its 1973 war with Egypt and Syria.
This brought soaring gas prices and long lines at filling stations,
and it contributed to a major economic downturn in the U.S.

Saudi Arabia was a leading proponent of the 1973 embargo.
For many Americans, Saudi Arabia was the symbol of the wealthy
Arab monarchies that were inflicting so much pain on the U.S.
Yet today, Saudi Arabia is one of the closest U.S. allies in the
region and is currently pumping oil at high levels to keep world
markets stable and offset lower production in places like Iraq,
Iran and Nigeria.

Iran and the U.S. were allies. Under the shah, Mohammad
Reza Pahlavi, Iran kept on producing and exporting throughout
the six-month embargo that lasted until March 1974. After the
Shah was overthrown in 1979, the U.S. and Iran became sworn
rivals, a confrontation that has lasted more than three decades.

Guess who paid for Donald Trump's crazy-corrupt
Mar-a-Lago Christmas party?

We did.

(The average American taxpayer)

Saturday he was throwing down at the Mar-a-Lago Studio 54 Party,
alongside his lawyer, Rudy Giuliani.

The party doesn't appear to have been quite as much fun as those
wild Mar-a-Lago bashes with Jeffrey Epstein back in the day.
But it had something going for it that those parties didn't —
taxpayer money funded a huge part of it, with the rest
is paid for by rich people willing to pay for play with
the (Presiderp) of the United States. Huffington Post
reports:

President Donald Trump has pushed his taxpayer-funded golf tab
past $118 million on his 26th visit to Mar-a-Lago, his for-profit
resort in Palm Beach, Florida, with a Saturday visit to his course
in neighboring West Palm Beach. The new total is the equivalent
of 296 years of the $400,000 presidential salary that his supporters
often boast that he is not taking.

And of that $118.3 million, at least several million has gone into
Trump’s own cash registers, as Secret Service agents, White House
staff and other administration officials stay and eat at his hotels and
golf courses.

Mar-A-Lago Memberships are not cheaply purchased.

Direct access is not easy to come by, unless money and favors are offered-
"...you have to do us a favor, though."

President Trump hit an important milestone as he returned to Florida
over the Thanksgiving holiday: 100 visits to Mar-a-Lago.

In 1,040 days as president, he has prioritized visiting his properties
over the course of his presidency, making time for nearly 400 visits
to the businesses that he still owns and profits from. Of all of his
properties, it appears that Mar-a-Lago is his favorite to funnel
untold sums of taxpayer money to, even rebranding
Mar-a-Lago the “Winter White House.”

The Mar-A-Lago party swindle used the same game plan as the rally swindle.
