Once I was talking to a Professional photographer friend and he told me, "Don't be afraid to get close." Now he didn't mean, nor do I, that you need to take just shots of a boob or pussy. But people tend to try and get the whole face or all of the person in the picture. It's not necessary. Look at pro shots. You don't always see the tops of heads or all of the face. You can see eyes and mouth. You can tell the expression and read the person.

The picture you took has enough of you, to feel you relaxing in the sun. Plus the play of the light is really great.

It's just that there are so many people here at Lit who do those pieces and parts shots and never stand back to tell a story and show the whole big picture. I wanted to stand out so I started doing just that a couple of years ago I think. I still occasionally focus in for the tight shots, but for the most part....I stand back.

I do love the way sunlight highlights. Like this pic for example (which came from the same series as black & white 7) <edited because I noticed I didn't get that image as clean as I would have liked...needs to be redone. I am sucha perfectionist >

your creekside series is fascinating. I'd like to know whether you manipulated the colors in any way. The broad palette of greens in the back ground propel your peachy complexion, the white gauzy gown and your blue eyes forward. You manage to capture an ethereal setting whether through experience or chance. It's extremely effective. A spiritual eroticism comes through coupled with the lushness of the creekbed setting.
All in all, it's a very accomplished series.
