Currently watching: Crystal Lake!

There’s something about settling in on a Sunday night and getting into a brand-new show. Perfect way to wind down in some comfy pjs before the new week begins.

What’s everyone else watching lately? Any shows you’d recommend adding to my watchlist?

An update on this one:

Crystal Lake – 4/5
Really enjoyed this one! Linda Cardellini is the standout, of course. She brings so much to the role and is an absolute pleasure to watch. Such a strong performance and easily one of the best parts of the show. Also? Hot!

Loved the setting, the atmosphere and all the little callbacks to the original movie. Really enjoyed getting more of Jason’s backstory. It added another layer to a story and characters we already know.

Overall a good mix of nostalgia and new details that kept me hooked.

I watched next weekend after your post here, and as I wrote here before, it has aligned with my watching the original movie for this story by just coincedence (I love when this happens ) I liked the characters including the chief and his deputy.

Linda Cardellini is the standout,

I watched her first on DTF St. Lois. She also had this cold hearted women outlook who has a very opposite inner world and back story there too. She is the perfect fit for such character.

Agreed! They were great. The acting was pretty good overall

I pretty much agree with all of this

I had some cannon issues with it...but I am not a big enough Friday the 13th fan for that to ruin it
Linda Cardellini is awesome and they mad her a near perfect Pam

all and all it made me consider watching Friday the 13th again

ER, Green Book and even those Daddy's Home Movies are good...She was definitely a stand out in DTF St Louis

my memory was my main issue too LOL I spent the whole time going wait...when is this happening?..Are they following Cannon changing it or ignoring it...oh shit who cares..enjoy it,,LOL

My main issue with both Friday the 13th and Nightmare on Elm Street has always been I thought the original stories were better without the slasher/Supernatural/movie monster elements

but hey watching creepy dude chase after and kill half naked hot chicks is fun too...LOL

When I look at those, I cannot believe they ever exist lol Unreal!

(Not a fan of current Cock Talk topic, but I loved what it triggered here: grabbing, squeezing )
