Story idea: a careless driver runs a woman off the road. The woman was able to see his license plate and wrote it down. For a moment she considers calling the police, but what will they do? Issue a fine?
The woman, also known as Mistress Diabolique, has a much better idea: sweet revenge.

Josh Bently was running late. His alarm had not gone off, which set him behind for the day. His 8:15 am meeting with the V.P. of sales was one he couldn't afford to show up late. His promotion to District Manager depended on the presentation he'd carefully prepared.

His red MG allowed him to cut in and out of traffic with ease. Heavy traffic was always a pain in the neck, and he wasn't willing to allow anything to stand in the way of his promotion.
He came up quicker than expected to the car in front of him and quickly turned to the right, sliding into the small space there. He'd thought the lane to his right was moving quicker, but now he realized his mistake and stepped on the brake.
He noticed in his rearview mirror the car behind him as it careened off the highway and into some woods. Stupid driver. It wasn't his fault they didn't know how to drive.
He continued on his way to work without a giving a second thought to the car that ran off the road.
