Sweden Allows Same Gender Marriage

Sweden has joined a growing group of nations that have passed laws to allow same gender marriages. Article link from the BBC news below.

Slowly but steadily the world continues to realize that homosexuality is not something to fear! It may take time, but such actions usually tend to influence other countries and thus, one can have hope for an eventual shift in attitudes in the USA.

Wonderful for Sweden, and when Anders Fogh Rasmussen is gone to NATO we can perhaps get it here *fingers crossed* since then we can really be proud of something in Denmark.

They are all true marriage. The UK offers civil partnerships, which are often referred to as marriages (Alan Cumming is often said to be "married" to his partner) but they're not true marriages. All of the ones DarkBee listed are honest to goodness marriage.

And, as of today we can add the country of Iowa to the list that allows gay and lesbian marriages. W00t!
