Swannie's Random Stuff

That's a great reminder for everyone.

Awesome reminder. And remember even a 'failed' RU OK conversation might change someone's life. Go ahead and ask.

Thanks for taking the time to post the reminder Miss S!

RU:)K too.
That's a great reminder. Thank you.

Your pics are awesome MissS, and you look more than OK ;)

This is great, wish they would do it in the US!

That's a great reminder and message.

Ha ha, you are quite skillful at lining things up the way you want to.

Indeed sweetheart.

It's National Suicide Prevention Day in the UK here today.

That is a lovely message / post. And indeed... somebody knowing that somebody cares and asks.. even if they have no real expertise... really helps.

Mental Health comes in so many versions and has so many forms of suffering.
Well done for this today.

Great message.

There are various formats of it around the world. I think the simple R U OK is an easy one. You can go to the campaign group website and get the graphics and booklets in pdf format. I like the first graphic posted. It's simple and a decent one to print out 10 to a page and just pop up anonymously on notice boards around the place. It's a conversation starter in the workplace, schools, sports groups, gyms etc. Just leave them there.

You weren't serious with your earlier comment about not posting again until Christmas were you? Another monday passing and no sign of you. Surely there is something interesting going on in your end of the world that we need to hear about!

Hardly worrying, just been up north and sleeping under the stars for a few days

Its been a few days up in the bush. Always nice to meet up with people and chat about the local conditions, what they are up to and have seen about the place.

Spring is definitely in place. Flowers out everywhere, and now the plums and fruit trees are all in bloom around the suburbs.

attachment.php

Further out, it was getting hotter. Over the week, we managed one 39C day, but mostly low to mid 30C so pretty comfortable. Called in on a couple of big holes to look at cut back progress, above the ground on some and a mile down on others.

attachment.php

Cutting across to the top there were a few nicer places to camp and grab a swim down at the river. It's the right time of the year to sleep out so have to make the most of it.

attachment.php

The roads to the exploration camps are pretty rudimentary. You go through stations and just keep going down the road. If you plan it out right, you can get to the places you need to see as well as cutting across to the next set of highways rather than backtracking.

attachment.php

Everything is easy out bush, you don't have to dress up, just be yourself. A couple of days the sun was really nice so just drove along with the top off... Just keep a shirt to throw on when you hop out to talk to people. Unwritten law that you have to pull over and say hello to anyone stopped along the way, just in case help is needed, or just a chat. On a track you would slow down to pass the oncoming car, so might as well wind down the window and have a chat too.

You my dear have amazing pictures, amazing stories and of course an amazing body

It is good to see nature gradually reclaiming the quarried land. Is that large quarry almost finished as the deepest part Doesn’t seem very wide. Will they start again at the top and enlarge the circumference, or just close it as ‘exhausted’

I can understand the need to stop and talk to anyone on the roads. It is very remote.

Love the top you are wearing. Would you normally drive topless in the outback and just cover up when needed.

Called in on a couple of big holes to look at cut back progress,

Quite a paradox that such a scar on the landscape can still look beautiful.

Thanks for this latest set of pictures.

The artsy tinge of them all.. of both the natural scenery AND of the human body scenery... is a winner as always.

Exquisite breasts... and there's something quite amazing about erect nipples nestling in cloth covered... a great sight.

Yummy. Thank you.

Outrageously great boobs. The other photos are nice too.
Ha, priorities I guess

They are usually alert

I like to make it interesting.
Beautiful Pics
All of them !!
I think so. The outback is full of great places. I enjoy traveling and seeing places all over.

Nothing being reclaimed about that gold mine. It is presently 3.7km long, about 1.6km wide and 600 meters deep. They blow up benches and expand it sideways and depth. You can probably see 350 ton haulpaks going up some of the inclines, or perhaps that's lost when I have to reduce the resolution to post in here. It will get bigger yet.
Unwritten law that you wave at on coming people, the two fingers off the steering wheel greeting. And yes, you never fail to slow down and say hello or stop and see what happening. Render assistance, have a chat, find out local road conditions, or if the station has cattle across the road or are helicopter mustering etc.
With or without a shirt, as I please and feel like. Once the sun gets stronger you might not want to fry your arms with the UV rays. Not that many will notice up this end.
Love this set. and those perkies ;)
A bit of a look around the place. They pop out to greet people.

That one is gold, but the uranium, iron ore, copper, rare earths of the world come from big holes in the ground.

You have all had hotels and cities around the world, time for the outback editions of my travels and work.

Looks as if your nipples are trying to make a point, ho, ho! Hope the guy was around to fulfill your needs.

Oh you have beautiful flowers there in spring. What lovely places you go to. And of course you are very beautiful daring and confident.

Yes I have been floating about but not posting for a bit. I was going to let it drift for a bit while a few things sorted themselves out, but then again, lets put it on the table. A couple of people have pushed the boundaries a bit, using DM. I am as thick skinned as the next Aussie, so throw that sort of stuff off or in the bin. There are social boundaries and there are legal boundaries, don't feel entitled to push either in my feed or in others please.

I'm looking for another image solution. I have enjoyed restricting myself to play within the direct posting limits. It makes you think. The problem is that I have rather large image sizes natively and when I strip the meta data from the file, I also have to reduce the image dimensions and image quality to fit the max size. 100kb is pretty lean. Lately I have had to reduce to 500 length and less instead of 800, and reduce the the jpeg quality to sub 80%. As a straight file, some of the are 15-30MB. So you don't get the full spectrum of colour play or the sharpness. Some things just don't look good in a small file either. To the point where I sometimes just give up on posting it, like the sunbaking on a rock photo that goes with the swimming one below which didn't go below 100 until it was a postage stamp and pixels. Dropbox and the like are good, but as I run dropbox and other clouds for legit purposes, not nudie fun, they tend to want to link, which obviously I don't want. I may resort to using links from a remote server if I don't find the image quality or storage space I want. Anyway, thinking about how I am going to run it from now on.

Some interesting weather over here. Spring arrived and then departed for the past week or so. Up north the weather has been great with early 30C's. A bit of a look around going in between areas of interest. There are some gorges with water in them that are great for a swim in the afternoons. No crocs in these to worry about.

In the spring time sun down south, there have been a few opportunities to duck off and spend the time at wineries and their restaurants. There is a fairly significant wine industry surrounding the outskirts of the city so 30-40 mins and you are spending the day like this.

Otherwise it has been a bit cloudy and wet.

Two and four make me hungry. So erotic!

Hey MS, beautiful pics, it's gods own country out there. Your so lucky cruising around out there.
You mentioned you resizing and editing images, what do you use to manipulate your images currently.

Only the image hosting/posting part. I'm not happy with the usual ones so am evaluating.

I'm not too edible.

XnViewMP is my go to. You do what you want to do with the image then use the export function to strip the metadata and change the resolution of the jpeg algorithm to get to a file size. I don't use filters so that doesn't come into play for my photos.
