It's been ages since I visited a zoo. Actually here during social distancing and shutdown, the zoo remained open but to vehicle traffic only. Obviously not all exhibits were accessible. You can drive down a predetermined path and never leave your car or truck.

Fairly envious of your current weather there MissSwannie, it has been rather hot and raining here the past couple of weeks. Just too humid and muggy to relax in a park. At least for my taste it is.

I'm not sure why you feel 30 is old, you look amazing and they are perfect! Wait until you reach my age.

Ha ha, I was 30 when George Dubbya moved in and the world did not close down with computer clock issues.
The zoos closed down for a bit, but the public front end is the visual part of the back end endangered species breeding programs, so they have still been operating.
Winter doesn't really kick in until July but our winter is someone else's summer so ignore my moaning when it comes.

Probably the goggles wouldn't like the spa bromine. It wouldn't be the first time the underwater view was looked at. Mind you, women are like submarines, the hatches tend to clamp shut when underwater. Out on the towel in the sun might be a better view if that's what you are looking at.

Winter has arrived.

Winter and 23 degrees used in the same sentence, we only have a few, if we are lucky 20s in our summer. like the imaginative art in the zoo.

I know, we have UK migrants that arrive here and it takes them an age to adapt to our version of "nice day". The Southern Ocean coast 450km south is often more acceptable to their ideas of retire to the warmth. We just call it bloody cold.

It is a bit of a show off blouse. I bought a bunch of them over in Rio last trip there. Jeans are good once you have found brands and fits that suit your shape. There are plenty of crap ones out there.

Probably a bit further down the track than that but I don't go with definitions. Any reference I make to age is tongue in cheek. Maybe a few cheeky people about that tried to get the glance downwards as they ordered their coffee. We were all sitting on milk crates on the grass they had put down.

Yes I fear for quite a number of attractions about the world. Animal welfare aside though, some of the best destinations in the world don't achieve that status until they have gone bust a couple of times and wiped out the attached debt. Sometimes the flip side of a crisis provides opportunity to reinvigorate areas. I would like to think that the "new normal" is the chance for people to put down plans to do things differently without the burden of continuing a past decision. If the people around are not looking how to redesign the big reset then perhaps they are not the ones to elect going forward. Whatever the future is, it can't look the same as last year.
Sunshine, it looks like 20-25C for the next weeks, so most people getting in plenty of winter swims and skin in the sun.

Winter has arrived. Well, winter arrived two weeks ago and rained for a fortnight. This week with calendar winter, it has fined up again and gone back to 23C weather.
So, out and about the place taking advantage of the June clear skies before it gets a little bit colder than this.
The ferry landing on the other side of the river leading to the zoo has some new sculptures installed. A numbat with a bit of frilled neck lizard insiration, with meerkats looking on. The zoo is open again so everyone visiting and getting the numbers up.

We already had a culture of coffee and food vans around parks and even with cafes open again, noone is abandoning those that were open for business all through. Its quite nice sitting on a milk crate and having a coffee and something to eat in the park. There is an overwhelming mood to not go back to the rat race and embrace a bit of relaxed life again in the "new normal".

Beautiful days for beginning of winter swimming. Some of the beach was washed away with the cyclone but it is starting to regenerate again with the tides. Still very nice in the water for a swim and body surf midday as a break from other things.

Tips for best boob angles in the spa. Boobs float and then give them the "chicken fillet" bra treatment with a couple of fingers to poke some volume into them. Us old girls don't have the nice boob fat content of the younguns so need a bit of volume take up!
It's been beautiful sitting outside in the spa while working on a few things. Waterproof covers for ipads are great.

Floating boobs in the water, that is gorgeous. You could have left the crop an inch to the left and given us the full bathtime special.
I hope you get a kickback from your government every time someone is inspired to buy a house down there and move camp. I am even inspired to start setting up a retirement house there to spend the southern summer in.

It would be vernacular down here. The weather will fine up on Saturday, the weather will be cloudy in the morning and fining up in the afternoon, etc. Present past fined up.
