Seeing my story finally posted (after almost 4 weeks) was such a rush, I thought I was going to have a heart attack! Even though the title was changed (It was 'Jack and Jill, Part I', now it's 'Jill and Me') and it took so long, I was thrilled when it finally showed up. Now, I guess, it's on to Part II.
I am just wondering if I need to misname it 'Jill and Me, Part II' or whether they can return the name of Part I to 'Jack and Jill.'
I guess I 'shot my load,' so to speak, on Part I and wondered if anyone had some threads I could weave into Part II (and III, IV, and V,....)?

Just post replies here and I will definitely read them.

Glad to hear you're stoked to be posted! Somehow, the title of your story never made it to us, so we named it "Jill & Me" because, well, that's the best we could come up with...lol If you wish, we can rename the story! Email me with what you'd like us to do, and we'll do it!

Wow, that seems an awful long time. Is the wait usually this long? Does it vary from author to author, or are stories either rejected or posted in the order in which they are received?

I, too, have submitted a short story and am waiting to see what happens. I've only been waiting less than a week, though, and I hate to think it could take a month or more.

Yes, please rename it to 'Jack and Jill, Part I,' since I will be writing more chapters, and also would like to weave that known-by-everyone nursery rhyme into it in a later chapter.
