Suspicious story site

I've counted Couture a buncha times here (but he never seems to care as long as he's credited and the email address is intact and he is and it is). curious2c has a bunch in there that aren't credited. It seems to be mostly ASSTR rip offs--if they are indeed rip-offs.

It's an annoying site with bad navigation, bad title formatting, and it's even worse in that the stories are chock full of advertising links. For example, if the story had a sentence: "His hot wife gave me a blowjob," the word wife would be a link to a wife porn page and the word blowjob would be a link to a blowjob page.

At any rate, here's the link. Look for your stuff. Be warned, while the stories are separated into alphabetical categories, the categries are not alphabetized.

That is an utterly awful site. The titles include FAQ, Readme, ch1txt, and all sorts of temporary file names. Oh, and there's one story that gets as far as Chapter 121. Truly the place to wallow for anyone who can't hack the snooty New Yorker atmosphere here.

However, a search for my stories and a few others shows they haven't ripped off Literotica, that I could find.

Still, thanks for the link: all of these places deserve watching. Not reading; just watching.

It was taken from ASSTR, but the story is posted exactly the same here at Literotica, excluding the header information that is used for searches at ASSTR. The disclaimer is clearly attached in the header:

This appears to be a "for profit" website because of the advertising, but there is no membership fees. The story has links embedded into keywords leading to other for profit sites. I was not asked, nor have I given permission to this site to use this story.

ASSTR has no advertising, except for a solicitation for donations from authors and readers that is completely voluntary. There are no requirement for authors to post the solicitation either.

Before I start anything, would Laurel get involved in this situation if needed?

I had a quick look through the site, and couldn't stand it. There is stuff everywhere in no order whatsoever. What I did find amusing was a number of stories labelled as (unfinished) or (revised). Who the hell submits an unfinished piece????

I thought that the entire site WAS "Emily's Smelly Brown Present."

I visited that site for about two minutes. I wouldn't usually have a problem with someone stealing my stuff and posting it somewhere. I'd draw the line at THAT place, though. The whole place seems smelly and brown.

I haven't found any of mine yet, but there are definitely quite a few that I recognize. Some even have "lit" in the title!
