Who among you still watch this? I do and I love that show. Most people are probably saying, “That stupid shit is still on?” Yes. It is. And it’s amazing.

There used to be a thread here that TigerJen ran that was about the show. It was always so good hearing everyone’s input and discussing the show.

I know there are a couple of people here who still watch it. But I would love to see if there is enough interest to still have a thread about it. It won’t be one of my normal annoying threads where it’s me being a tool. We can actually discuss the show, which would be great.

There will be spoilers, so if you haven’t watched the episode, don’t click!.

So last night’s episode... they voted off the best looking person. Laaaaaaaaame. And geez that’s Naura lady or however she spells her name is annoying as hell.

My name is Suz_anne and I still watch Survivor. Please note - I don't watch other CBS fare like the NCIS or the CSI or whatever hospital/cop/fireman-centric shows that round out their programming for the geriatric set. Just Survivor. And The Amazing Race. Oh, and 60 Minutes. But I'm not 65, I swear.

This season of Survivor!

Love: The woman who is like a Melissa McCarthy character that has come to life. And the creepy guy who keeps rubbing everyone. And I don't hate the mentoring thing so far.

Dislike: The girl who just got voted off. She smiled too much and thought she was soooooo smart. Bye, bitch. :)

^^^
But she was pretty. :(

It is really about the only thing I like on CBS. That is not the best channel. But dammit if I don’t love Survivor.

There must be other girls with big boobs on the show... you'll be okay.

I get the feeling that they're going to try to do blindsides at every tribal council this season.

Eileeeenn!!! She is so awesome. I love her. I honestly didn’t remember who Molly was so I didn’t care that she was voted off. I like Janet also bc she breaks the mold of the whiny, older woman. She was kicking ass in the first show and so I really like her. I also liked the swimmer, I can’t remember her name.

I just started watching survivor a couple years ago with my daughter. It’s a lot of fun.

^^^ My nieces watch it with my sister, so we have a group text about Survivor. That's half the fun for me. And the consensus is that the women are vastly more interesting than the men this season. I hope that all-girl alliance hangs tough. :D

Uh? What's a CBS? Is that a drug store? Ha ha ha ha ha ...

I'll confess, I watched the first season and it was awesome. Second season maybe yes, and then I lost interest. Everybody knows the game now.

I have watched every episode, every season.

I am two weeks behind right now, so I will be back when I am caught up!

Did anyone watch last night's episode?

This is not a spoiler - that Noura chick is a whack-a-doo. And a terrible liar. She'll probably make the top 3.

She’s cray.

I’m still on #teameileen

i do watch. missed last night so will have to wait until Monday night to watch at home. Currently in DFW for a 40 yr high school reunion. !!

Glad to see some people participate here. Such a good show.

I did watch this week's episode. Oh man... That Noura girl is as annoying as the spelling of her name. Her original lie was good. The idea was fine. But the follow up stuff was rubbish. How funny what her role in the challenge ended up being.

Spoilers ahead...

Two weeks in a row that people left with idols in their pockets. Crazy. That girl last night said she thought the blindsiding part was fun... Then got her ass voted out. Bwhahaha.

I do hope Noura and the Indian girl (can't remember her name) get voted out soon. They're annoying as hell.

In the preview for next week, Probst has a "drop the buffs" moment. Do you think they have those tribe shakeups pre-determined before the show starts? Or do they do it when one tribe keeps losing immunity challenges?

The one tribe is only down 2 people. It seems like the producers should wait until it is more lopsided before they intervene. I would prefer if they would just let it play out and not reshuffle the players. If one tribe dominates, so be it.

And I'm also Team Elaine. She cracks me up.

That is very capitalistic of you. I say that we should redistribute the winnings in a fair, even-handed fashion. Level the playing field, as it were.

I always assume it's not predetermined. Like, they decide as the show goes on when to change things up. They don't want it getting stale and having the same peeps win every time.

Also, have you ever noticed, no men have ever decided to do an all male alliance? Girls do it often. Wisely so. But the men... Too stupid to do that.

I think the all male alliance thing happens but is more of an unspoken thing. Like they know it would be unbecoming for men to appear to be ganging up against the women. But the women can freely say it and it's all "Yay - girl power!" The world is an all male alliance. :p ;)

That being said, you have not commented on anyone's rack yet. Are there no boobs that you're ogling this season?

I feel like I'm always catching up this season - watched the episode from this past week earlier today. That Dean guy is a dumbass. Other than that, I don't remember much that was noteworthy.

Oh, except that Missy is probably going to get voted out soon because she thinks she's got the whole thing on lock.

I forgot I had this thread.

I was so mad they voted the old guy out. WTF?!? They deserve to lose. Over. And over. Dean is an idiot.

Kari sham is dumb as hell. She’s fucking terrible. Why they keep her around... it’s beyond me.

Like they know it would be unbecoming for men to appear to be ganging up against the women.

If this site has taught me anything, it’s that girls here love having multiple guys gang up on them.

There are no racks of which to speak this season.

I have forgotten about this thread...

But who watched last night? Holy shit. One of the most intense shows ever. I didn't expect to see a #MeToo episode.

Fuck those cowbags. I felt bad for Janet. Those bitches were some lying snakes. My gosh. I feel like behaviour like Missy and Liz displayed is exactly why guys get away with that shit.

Dan is a creeper. I like how he said something along the lines of "I work in the entertainment industry and we helped usher in the MeToo movement." Yeah, because you're assaulting women left and right, motherfucker.

I'm curious what other people thought.

First off - I thought Dan was a single gay man. It doesn't make homeboy's touchy feelies any more acceptable if he were gay, but learning that he's straight and married adds additional layers of ick.

How did they go to that tribal council and Aaron is acting like he knows nothing about what's going on when the producers halted production to have a #MeToo workshop and supposedly talked with all of the contestants about it? And for Dan to be shocked that anyone was uncomfortable with his behavior after he received a warning from producers... how is his surprise possible? Maybe it can be attributed to the way they edited the episode, but it feels very out of sync.

I felt terrible for Janet. She was trying to do a good thing and those girls manipulated her empathy. They're assholes.

Riiiiight?!? What a bunch of fucking morons! They're awful. And how is Dan not super gay? I was sure he was gay. I would've lost money there.

I told you that we're the only geezers who still watch Survivor.

How have we not yet discussed this week's double elimination???

#TeamElaine

A chat with “the” Suzanne is worth admitting I watch, but to be honest I was paying more attention to Lit

Your guy who rubs everyone rubbed someone the wrong way! Lose a shot of a million dollars over “rubbing” someone the wrong way? Ouch!!

Sexybritches too?
Suddenly happy to be a survivor fan

How many couples have managed to fuck during their time on the show?
How many get it on once they get on the jury?

How can Boston Rob bear to be away from his wife??
