Most Americans felt safer two years ago when former President Donald Trump was in office, a Convention of States Action/Trafalgar Group survey released Thursday found.

The survey asked, “Do you feel as safe in America today as you did 2 years ago?”

Most, 67.9 percent, said they do not feel as safe in America today as they did two years ago when Trump was in the White House. Another 27.1 percent said they do feel as safe, and five percent remain unsure.

Both Republicans and independents, 86.8 percent and 64.1 percent, respectively, said they do not feel as safe in Biden’s America. Democrats remain relatively split, as a plurality, 47.8 percent, said they feel just as safe today as they did two years ago. However, 44.9 percent of Democrats said they do not feel as safe.

Oh, you mean before a bunch of right wing insurrections tried to overthrow the government and before Russia attacked Ukraine and started nuclear posturing against NATO and the rest of the world?

You mean back when most of the GOP was still trying to believe that Trump was a financial genius instead of the grifting self-dealing thug that he is?

They should ask what percent of registered voters would want trump back.

That would be 2020, when there was a fraction of traffic on the streets, and every car was either an essential worker or a cop. People didn’t leave their houses to attend events because there were none.

Interesting article.

Read it with a critical mind and you will find that the paragraphs and sentences are often combined non-sequiter. It reads like cut and paste, sewing odd facts together to try to make a point - Breitbart style.

The article goes on to promote a program Trump used of having federal troops supplant local law enforcement. That doesn’t sound like a classic conservative idea, It sounds more like something that would scare the hell out of any federalist.

;)

I did not feel safe during the George Floyd riots. They happened when Trump was president.

I did not feel safe when an ignorant, impulsive buffoon was bragging about how big his nuclear button was.
