Hi,

I'm a 43 year old male. I will be 44 in January.

I love writing. I have fantasies about incest and many other fantasies which include public places.

I would love to write some erotic stories. I'm interested in finding a woman who could write from a woman's perspective. I like the idea of co-authoring some works with someone.

Not a woman, can't help you there. Just want to make you aware that if you haven't written for Literotica before, there is a very, very strict policy of no minors in any story. Keep that in mind before you try to write your incest story.

We should also warn you that men looking for female co-authors usually get a fairly negative reaction, for reasons. The advice inevitably will be to prove you can write by yourself before seeking a co-author, and that you don’t need to be a woman to write a woman’s perspective - although, seeking a female beta reader to do a sanity check is a not uncommon thing.

I don't want to stifle conversation, but this is probably not the right forum for this topic...

If you want to talk about writing about sex, I would do it in Authors Hangout. If you're wanting to talk about having sex, I'd probably move it into How To. You can report your own post and ask the mods to move it, you don't need to delete it or anything!

And also, i think you might benefit from talking to a professional therapist about this, possibly one that specializes in sexuality!

You can learn a lot by reading, although keep in mind that there's a lot of exaggeration on Lit. By and large, Author's Hangout is a good place to ask questions, so long as the focus is more or less on writing and understanding characters. Sometimes people do get personal, but it's a public forum and a subject area that makes it unwise to be open.

It's a big world and people vary widely and in ways that are often quite startling.

Hi,

I'm a 43 year old male. I will be 44 in January.

I love writing. I thought that erotic chats would be a good way to explore my human sexuality.

I've never had sex before. All of my brothers and sister have had sex outside of marriage and with different people. My dad slept with multiple women. Even my mom had sex outside of marriage and at a young age.

I'm always running into resistance and barriers.

I just want folks to explore my sexuality in safe way with through discussions. I don't want to be sexually repressed all of my life.

I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Everyone around me is open about sexuality. I fail to understand it. I just want help understanding it and discussing it. Maybe even having some erotic conversations with trusted people.

I'm always a laughing stock just because there are terms in human sexuality that I'm not familiar with.
@Sterling1864,
Firstly, my dear colleague, allow me to welcome you to our comfy little "nut hatch". We are, by and large, a friendly bunch and not above helping when help is needed.

I sense, in your post, both a life frustration and a certain nervous tension. Sit back, take a deep breath, and then read some of the stories in your favourite category. See how other authors (especially multi-published ones) write about sex.

There are some very good guides to writing about various things in our writers resources section.

There is a forum here that you can open your own discussions with people if that is what you really want to do. The only problem I can perceive there is that the discussions will be rather one sided until you have some basic grounding in what it is you want to talk about.

NO ONE is a laughing stock here. People come here for a whole variety of reasons and we try and help in whatever way we can, and in whatever way way we think is best for you.
Deepest respects,
D.

I suspect that an erotica site is probably not a good place to learn about real sex, much like porn videos. Not for entirely the same reasons - there's a lot more nuance in good erotica, for instance - but we write what we know, what we enjoy personally and what we think works for other people.

And even when it's more nuanced than visual porn, it's probably at the very least a little romanticised and/or idealised.

I'm Never Going To Understand Anything About Sex

Hi,

First of all, no one is going to laugh at you (or no one whose opinion is worth having anyway).

Second, it’s not entirely clear what you are looking for. You say you have no IRL sexual experience. That’s very sad, my commiserations. Are you looking to address that via virtual hookups here? Some people do that here, I used to when I was single. But maybe that would be better in one of the other forums, which are dedicated to people who want to play on-line.

But you also mention wanting to write. I get that it’s easier to write about things that you have experienced yourself (I started that way), but you don’t have to have had sex IRL to write about sex. There are plenty of stories here featuring types of sex that the author has no experience of. I’ve never been fucked by a space octopus for example.

If you want to add some realism to your writing, then take a look around and absorb how others write about it. Who you read is probably dictated by what kinks you want to address in your story.

Porn is obviously mostly fake (some amateur porn a bit less so), but at least it covers the basic mechanics (albeit in an exaggerated manner).

I doubt that you are going to get someone here coach you in how to write sex. But I don’t know that it is fully necessary.

To return to IRL. Do you have problems engaging with other people? I suspect that this may be more the root of your problem. Seeking therapy might be a good thing to do.

I have no idea about your personal world view. But there is no shame in seeking out a sex worker - assuming that this is not conflicting for you, I’d think about that. But perhaps try therapy first.

You're certainly welcome to discuss these ideas here, but if you're genuinely trying to remedy a lifetime of celibacy I'd recommend getting therapy. Or just make yourself try online dating. The "just do it" philosophy. It works quite well.

A good starting point is to avoid ever saying "I'm never going to understand," because of course you DO have the ability to understand if you open your mind to something and study it.

From the way you say you don't understand 'it' and there are terms you dont understand, I'm thinking its not just that you havent met the right person, but that you've had maybe a limited interest in sexual matters. It may be a good thing to start with to say what you would like to happen (in real life, not in discussions/chat). Do you have an imagined way of losing your virginity?

Also: There's nothing wrong with being celibate, if that's the way you genuinely want to be. If sex seems baffling and unappealing, there's no absolute need to be like other people and try to force yourself to like it.

That's called being asexual, and it’s just a different way of being (not trying to lecture Simon, just adding on)

EDIT: what a stupid typo

Why do people talk about "losing" their virginity? I didn't lose mine. It didn't slip out of my pocket while I was out for a walk. It didn't get thrown out with the rubbish by accident. It wasn't taken by someone who thought it was theirs. I got rid of it on purpose.
I threw that shit away at the first oppertunity.

I gotta say, this thread took quite the plot-twist after the OP's edit to post #1. He might have a good future in writing after all.

Thank you for clarifying this
I am to be helpful. Neither have I fucked another woman while in the form of a stallion, not let an ogre spank me. There was that one time when I had a threesome with two women who looked identical to me, but then - post sex - they morphed into an angel-human hybrid and the daughter of Satan and an archangel. That’s IRL experience being channeled pretty much word for word.

Don't leave us in suspense - which of them was more kinky?

Something is off with our friend's post(s). For starters, every paragraph begins with "I".

This account's first post on LitE was back in May, and then radio silence until yesterday.

Account name is [something] followed by four digits. That's a naming pattern we have found is an earmark of AI and/or a troll farm.

All the "woe is me" doesn't relate any underlying issues that would have been a barrier to forming normal adult relationships in 25 years of maturity.

The assertions of marital infidelity throughout the OP's entire family is preposterous.

</cruel-mean-heartless>

IMHO, we are being trolled, and need to move on.
