I sure hope so. lol... I talked to my sister about how she was going to package these. She said she talked to older women about sending cookies during war times and how they did it when "vacuum seals" and such weren't invented yet. These women said to put in a handful of plain popped popcorn in each package and the popcorn would absorb the moisture, so the cookies would arrive fresh and not taste stale. A very cool idea.

I learned some things about him being stationed over there...

He gets combat pay... Why?

Because the Korean War (which was never 'proclaimed' a war) was never officially 'ended'... I didn't know this... so he gets combat pay for being stationed over there. You'd think they would teach this to us while we were in school.

I'd heard that about Korea actually...and here, think about all of the money they're spending on the extra when it's essentially not really a war zone... It's good for the soldiers though!
