(thats an Order young Lady ;) )

Red,

I wish you the best. I am a mother of 4 and our children think we are the most beauiful women on earth...even if we look like Shrek big & green. LOL I do know the want to be able to walk..that s something I will only do in my wheel chair or walker. I have nuroappathy and it is now spreading to my arms. I feel weak and want to lay down where ever I am at. BUT..... You have to confront those fears. My friend went through the operation and she looks great to this day and her operation was 15 years ago. Hopefully when I get my medicare in 1/2008 I will be going through the lap belt proceedure if medicare covers it. I just want my years back so I can go 4 wheeling in my wheelchair lol. Honey we are our worse
critic....we can look like a star and we see a monster. If you need a shoulder I am here for you always

On a lighter note (pun intended)...

I have bagged up another bunch of clothes to give away. :D (Actually the kids have also bagged up some because I made them go through their clothes too. They loved that chore. )

I got rid of anything larger than my size 20s in outer clothing and anything above my size 9 panties have seen the last of my dresser. It was a bit of a bummer to say goodbye to a few favorite shirts, but knowing I am too small for them is quite refreshing.

This morning is a new day, one that I'll make the most of. Yesterday was a sucky one as y'all can tell. Thanks for letting me rant.

I've hovered now for three weeks at 259. Not a bad number after being 403, but it isn't the place I need to be. I need to kick my ass back into gear. Easily typed, isn't it, just not easily done - or so it sure is a lot easier to sit on one's ass and do nothing. But I've been doing that lately and you know what. . .the numbers on the scale just sit there. Damn numbers. ;)

Well, this morning I had my breakfast. I'm up to six ounces of food. Which is 3/4 of a cup. I had left overs too - My body has been finally letting me absorb left overs again. (This is good, because the spouse and the kids were really more than willing to take mine - Not bad unless it is something I really, really like and they do to.) Now I get to keep my food, wrap it up and eat it later. lol. . .

I put on a pair of 18 slacks, not jeans mind you, but dress slacks. They fit great and just right, so I guess I can say I wear an 18. I may have to break down and buy a pair of 18 jeans to see if they will fit or not.

My vacation is coming up here in three days. My first airplane trip since I was five and my first trip on a plane alone. My mom went with me the first time. She said when we were in the clouds I asked her if we were going to meet Jesus. She said.... she sure hoped not. *chuckles*

Thanks again for the support everyone. It was definitely needed.

Red's depressing rant - turn back, you've been warned.

I feel really yucky tonight. Depressed and hurt. I think my soul is crushed and I don't know how to fix it. Do you ever have that feeling that you simply aren't good enough, no matter how hard you try? No matter how hard you try to make yourself feel beautiful, look beautiful, be beautiful, in the end ... you're not. You are simply another person that is easily overshadowed by beauty? Beauty is in the eye of the beholder they say... what do you say when the beholder is yourself and you see another who you see beauty in and you find you lack it. Outer beauty, inner... it doesn't matter, you can't see your own for some reason. I wish a wish I have wished a thousand times... I wish I could see me with the eyes of another, because with my eyes... tonight I am just not good enough. I can't compete and I will fail and I will fall and I will be hurt, crushed, and destroyed... whose fault will it be? Mine. . .because I dared to think for a moment that I was special.

What the fuck are you talking about you daft woman??

You are beautiful, inside and out. You are witty, intelligent, caring, loving, kind, gentle, wickedly naughty, your dirty talk is HOT and so on and so on and so on!!!

You have been there for me and continue to be so and I know I am not alone in having that level of support from you. I wish you could see in yourself what we all see in you. Easier said than done I know, I am a prime example of self doubt (remember the Nohari window  ) but you have to fight your way through the fog.

We both love you dearly and are so happy that you are a part of our lives. You know I think you have to put yourself first and I have a feeling that your post is actually a result of something P did or said or didn't do and that is HIS loss not yours. Be your own person, put yourself first and enjoy life!!

Thank you EW. Kids are beautiful aren't they. Mine never saw me as fat and they would look at me like I'd grown a third head when I would call myself fat. They are blind to the imperfections we see and I know deep in my gut that those that love me are blind to them too. I wish sometimes I was blind to them. :rose:

I hope you get approved for the surgery. If not, don't give up - appeal to them as many times as it takes. This is a wonderful site to spend time on: http://www.obesityhelp.com/

I have a profile there too: RedHeadLookingToLive

Thank you EW for your love and friendship. :rose:

Edited to add: *chuckles.... I just realized I put... "like I'd grown a third head"... it's not like I had two to begin with you know. :p :p

Again thanks. The ONE-headed Red. ;)

Sometimes life just seems to overwhelm me and last night was one of those moments. Reality bites sometimes and I was deep into depression. I don't take anti-depressants though I have a prescription for a bottle of them. I've never filled it. It was given to me after the surgery so that "if" I found I needed a way to not be sad over the loss of food, I could take a pill.

I've come close in the last couple of months of filling that prescription (it is on record at the pharmacy - and can be filled anytime up till a week after my GBS). I don't want to be on a pill. I have a hard enough time getting the daily vitamins in! lol.

Thank you very much, you know I love you both too.

:p I like him. :p lol... :D Always have and probably always will. Sam Elliot though, he's always been my favorite, there for a while though he let himself go, but in Ghost Rider he was definitely back in full form. His part in the movie was the best part... then again the rest of the movie sucked, but he was great. :D
