Shane blinked because the girl was looking right at him like she knew he was looking at her and what he was thinking ..he grumbled something and glanced down at the bag of stuff he got then peeked up to see where she was kinda wondering if she was going to kick his ass or maybe she left " be my luck she's some evil mistress person wanting a odd ball like me " he said outloud to himself as he purred a bit then stood slowly figureing he better take his stuff home and lock himself in the basement since reports said it was a full moon tonight ..feeding 3 times in one week from the same area wasnt going to be good so he needed to lock himself up for the night

Dancer saw the fight was out of him, and slowly relaxed. She bent down, and helped him up.

"Sorry," she muttered gruffly. "I'm not usually like that. I lost a friend today."

A couple uniforms came to claim him, and she stopped one of them. "What's his rap sheet?" He probably wasn't someone she could work into her rehab program, but she was upset at herself for taking Donovan's death out on the poor kid. She would do what she could to help him.

"I'm not having such a great day myself..." he said as she helped him up. "... Sorry about your friend."

One of the officers who took him answered her question. "Chris Aston. Ran away from a foster home about four years ago, then we lost track of him for a while. Caught him last night attempting a burglary."

"... Only took what I needed," he mumbled, half to himself.

Banner still watched him, but her expression was clearly confused. She watched him as he left or whatever he was chosing to do.

She didn't know what she should do, say hi? Wasn't that what normal people did?

Shane stood there a few minutes he could hear the hearts around him beating softly and smell the sents from the people walking past him...he glanced over at the girl again and gave a small smile then headed off to his home

Death Staker

I fly to the roof my hotel changing back to my human form. I look around at the sun as it rises over the in to the shy. I squint painfully at the light as I retch in to my coat pocket poling out a dark par of sun glasses putting them on so I don’t need to squint and to hide the fact that my eyes are beet red form the sun. I look down at the streets below watching as the people move about there baseness. I chuckle to my self the type that sends cold chills of fear to run down the spine. “I wish I could see Shadow Dancer’s face when she finds out about her friends death.” I say in a soft voice.

I tern sharply on my heal walking to the roof excess door opining it and walking down to my rooms. I move to the phone dialing a number I say “the first of your trouble makers is dead.”

The voce on the other end says “I know I fond out before most of the cops that where in there even new.”

I chuckle softly as I say “corrupt cops hmm, well I’m going to play with Dancer before finishing her off.”

I hear the voice laph then say “just make sheer you kill her, I don't care how you do it but if it's painful I’ll double your payment.”

I chuckle softly saying “I think I may be able to do that.”

I hang up an evil expectant grin on my lips as I think of what I’ll do to her the sweet screams that I’ll rip from her throat. I move back out the door taking my bicker coat off and grabbing my trench cote throwing it on to hid my sword. I move down to the lobby walking out on to the street. I walk throw the streets making my way threw the peole flowedly managing not to toch any one on the croded side walks.

As I walk I feel a light hand trying to slip in to one of my pockets. I smile coldly as I move faster then a striking cobra taking the hand in my fist twisting hard hearing the snap of bone. The mans scream of agony music to my ears. I then move throw the crowd before any one can see who snapped the mans wrist.

I finely come to the police station looking arund I see a restaurant across the street form the the station with some tables sitting out side. I take a set ordering a drink as I watch people com and go form the station. I smile as I hear two cops sitting a cupil tabils away form me talking about the murder wondering how the killer got in throw all of them and out agene with out any one seeing a thing.

I chuckle softly to my self as I hear the anger and sadness in they’re voices as they talk about what they would like to do to the bastard when they catch hem. I think to my self “If only they new that there bastered is sitting only a copal tables down form them, and wouldn’t the shit them selves if they new what he was.”

I look up at a disterbens in front of the station a man making a run for it. I smile as I see dancer fallow hem. My eyes shine with excitement at the anger that I see in her eyes. I watch as she fallows the man in to an ally disappearing in to the shadows. I finish my drink and wave the waitress over to me paying her leaving a big tip.

I stand up walking back in to the crowd of people. I look at the station one last time before walking back in the direction of my hotel so I can get some sleep.

Dancer looked surprised a moment.

First offender, and a foster home kid. Maybe he was someone she could work with.

"Ok kid. Here's the deal. Go with the officers. Don't give them any trouble. I will be at your arraignment tomorrow morning. I will arrange to have you released to my recognizance, pending trial. That means that I am guaranteeing you will be present for trial. I will provide your attorney. I have a friend who knows exactly how I will want her to argue your case. With this being your first offense, if you weren't a super, you would be slapped on the wrist. Some probation time. You are a super, and not a lightweight one either. Without my help, you would be doing a couple months in Stronghold, and you don't want that. I was one of the test cases, and their instructions were to treat me as a real prisoner. And since my job was to tests it's escapability, that meant I went through nearly every disciplinary routine they have.
I was there a month." She shudders briefly, at the memory.

"At any rate, with my help, I have a program to try to help borderline supers deal with their powers, and society. I will get you assigned to that program, as part of a plea bargain. I don't know how long the judge will assign you to it, honestly. The good part of it, is technically, you will be working for me. A salary comes with it, and it is not an insignificant salary. It's run sort of like a halfway house, which means you will be free to move about on your own for a good part of each day."

She paused and watched him closely, then offered her hand. "Do we have a deal?"

She saw the man that watched her leave before she had a chance to decide what she should do, and then shrugged and wlked to the now abandoned bench and sat down.

She sat and stared without really seeing anything, the feel of the lives arund her, slight its of strange information coming to mind periodicly.

Over all it was as if she slepted

One thing made her wake though and sent her running, fleeing.

Several men in dark suits and sunglasses stepped out into the streets, scanning for something or someone.

ANd Banner's reaction of pure fear pinned that someone as being her.


She fled heading down allies and streets, trying to put as much distance between herself and the ones tht looked for her. The fact she was, familiar, with most of them helped ehr to sense them before they spotted her giving her ample time to make an escape.

She knew in her heart that sometime they will figure out that they only need to send someone she didn't know and who didn't feel like one of them.

Be careful then, trust no one, she thought to herself racing past the police station, while might be consistered a haven to some looked like yet another place they could find her.....

She ducked down an ally and with an impressive leap grabbed the rails of an fire escape ledge and climed over to the landing there, the biulding seemed somewhat empty so she thought she could crash there, feeling suddenly very tired and.. old....

As I walk throw the crowded side walk a girl runs past me her shoulder bumping in to me I watch her as she runs past me ducking in to an ally. I raise an eyebrow sensing her fear I duck in after her my interest picket wondering who she was running from. I sigh softly as the soothing shadows rap over me shielding me form the cruel sun. I feel some of my strength com back to me know that the sun is not on me.

I watch as she jumps up to a fire escape I raze an eyebrow as I watch her find her way in to the building. Once she’s in side I walk up under the fire escape jumping easily landing on my feet with out a sound. I stand quietly as still as a stachu looking at the door that she went in to. I send my mined in carefully probing the building carefully seeing where she is.

Chris also shuddered at the mention of Stronghold. He had heard about that place. That's why he didn't want to let them take him.

But this woman was offering to help him. He wasn't sure he could trust her, but it didn't look like he had any other choice. Now that they knew what he was, he didn't think he could pull off another escape.

Reluctantly, he reached out and shook her hand. "Deal."

shane wasnt far when he heard...yes heard..he's feline after all and has that sense ..banner run...he knew that might not begood so he stashed his things he bought and slipped into an alley and shifted into his lynx form then gave a roar as he followed her from the shadows incase she needed the help...so he wouldnt get to fuck her yet or eat her...he could do it later...he silently followed her...prowleing...he ran and leapt up on some boxes then onto the firescape and then over onto the top crouched down watching banner...gave a soft purr watching her a few minutes then moved closer to her but slowly..in a friendly manner knowing that the men was going to be here soon..he nudged her to get her to move

Banner had paused when she.. thought she felt someone come near, watching. She paused to look back over the fire escape trying to locate the one that watched since it didn't feel like one of them.....

Then she nearly jumped out of her skin when a very large cat, much bigger than the little ones in the ally, bumped her and purred.

She never heard anythig purr before. She blinked at it and backed up then climbed into the window she had planned, a boarded up thing inside was an old biulding, nearly empty, likely to be toar down in days to come allowing room for a newer larger biulding to take it's place, as always the way of things in the city.

She hugged herself slightly and looked around rubbing her nose a little with teh back of her hand, she looked around noticing that she was stil being followed by the cat..

Weird feline, it felt.. familiar, like she seen it before but she had never seen the creature in her life.

She wandered farther into the biulding and found a small room with no windows and crawled in, closing the door to a mear crack then curling up on the floor and falls asleep.

Well there he was watching banner till she looked up at him and got up and moved inside the building..he followed her silently...he hooked his paw on the door and opened it after she layed down to sleep...he slipped in giveing a soft purr watching her sleep then moved to her sniffing her...then he shifted back into his human form and sat beside her quietly grinning some but knew he had to watch for these men who was after her

Currently those men were far away and Banner slepted somewhat for a little while though she seemed fitful like she suffered.

Then her eyes popped open and she spotted the man that watched her form the bench and back up her back to the wall an odd tingling like electrisity biulding aroudn her

"what do you want?" her vioce was a quavering soft wisper. Her tiny form shivered as she stared at him since she had thought she had not been followed by anyone. The feeling of the ones she ran from far away sparks that got frther as they went the wrong direction

She sat back and though her body didn't seem to relax the electricisity in the air faded and then she finally looked at him young strange eyes of a blue so deep they looked purple pleaded with him silently not to hurt her with a touch of confusion as she thought over what he said.

He oviously wanted a name from her from his look, she didn't remember having a name but she did remember someone calling her something..... "Banner" she wispered, it was the only name she knew.

he nodded and sowly reached over to rub her head softly to show friendlyness..yeah learned this from experiance from some of the "" odd"" women in this town...they'd see him in lynx form and try to coax him into their place usually leaning down and trying to pet him then they'd get him in their place and offer their selves to his lynx form to be fucked hard...them beastiality women was fun some times....shook the thought from his head then looked to her"need a place to stay? you can come stay at my place" Purred again not able to help it now ..slid a little closer to her as he rubbed her head

She looks around the surroundings then at him and quietly nods, she was hungry and scared. He seemed nice, she felt nothing from him that was threttening, some really weird things but nothing threttening and the odd sounds he kept making were soothing, almost hypnotic for her frighten mind.

I watch the girl and the cat man with my mined while I’m shrouded in the protective shadows. I frown thinking to bad the sun is up I would love playing with them if it where night but I’m not up to that right know. The werecat I could handle in panther form but the girl on the other hand I sense a lot of power with in her. She doesn’t know how to use it concisely but its still dangers. I move to the roof of the building making less sound then a stoking cat. I move to the side of the building that there going to come out of.

I look down at them trying to decide if I should fallow so I can play with them later. I shake my head slowly thinking “Maybe if I run in to them agene I’ll play with them I might even let them live to play agene.” I chuckle softly as I move over the roof back to the police station. I jump over a few allies as I fined a good plays to watch the police station with out being seen my self.

I watch patiently staying in the shadows as much as possible waiting for Shadow Dancer to go home so I can fallow her. My eyes scan the windows of the station slowly looking for any sine of her. I send tendrils of thought in to the station probing for her until they fined her mined. I let them slip in just engulf for me to put images in. I show her the imago of her friend being killed as if she was looking threw my eyes. My mined whispers “That was fun cutting her head off see the blood spotting from her stump splashing on the walls and ceiling.” I let an evil chuckle slip in to her mined as I replay the image for her over and over agene.

I watch the building carefully waiting to see what she will do next. I let the images dye as I say “You know I think I’m going to have fun playing with you before you dye.” I let my laugh echo in her mined as my mined with draws form her mined.

reaches back and takes ahold of banner's hand softly as they go through the streets then stops to pick up his stuff he stashed glad no one found it " hmmm you hungry? i can fix you some mac n cheese or something when we get to my place..." then lead her down a side street haveing an idea she was nervous then kept takeing side streets since they wasnt far from his home..on the edge of the city "you'll be safe here since we're all the way out here heh " purred and unlocked the door to the small house and opened it then led her in and shut the door motioning to the couch " here you go hun rest here " took the stuff into the kitchen and started putting it away
