The Rams vs. Pittsburgh/Oakland

Winner ~ The Rams. They have too many weapons for either Pittsburgh or Oakland to stop.

I will tip my hat to Pittsburgh though, they are playing the best ball I have seen them play in the recent past.

Wizzie, if the Steelers can look like the ones of new, and win the big bowl, then I will publicly say, HEY, you sure did tell me WAY back in December.

I'll admit to you right now, that the Steelers look damn good this year. Now, Jerome Bettis sure isn't Franco Harris, but then I know that from the short time he was in St. Louis. Bettis didn't get good until he went to a place that he actually liked playing at. St. louis certainly wasn't a place that he liked, and he let it be known, he pretty much said he didn't try as hard, because he didn't like it here, which is why he didn't last long.

He may be one of the reasons why Pittsburgh is doing so well, but admittedly, I'm not a big follower of many more teams that aren't in our division.

Tonight's game ~ The Bucs vs. The Ravens has the makings to be a dandy game. Both have their Playoff picture in their hands and BOTH want in. So...........they both have similar offenses and defenses and so it will be an interesting game.

*now back to the subject at hand*

yes, the Steelers look like they did when Kordell first came there ~ only better. Kordell has/is showing he has grown up. Bettis is playing decently (though he is injured right now) and that is good. I like Cowher, though I must admit I am NOT a Steeler fan but I do give the credit where credit is due. Cowher has done the most with the least in the past 5-7 years. Look at all the players he has lost to Free Agency yet he still wins.

The Rams are a machine. They have soooo many weapons and can hurt you in so many different ways. You take away Faulk, they throw to Bruce, Hakim, Holt and Company. Take away Bruce or Holt, they run Faulk and pass to the other guys........and this year there defense is much improved over last years. Hell, you give them Pittsburgh/San Fran's D combined with their existing offense, they would RUN the table.

The best damn thing about the SuperBowl is the fact that the next Saturday officially begins Speedweeks in Daytona with qualifying for the Daytona 500 front row.
