Mohammad!

Did you all catch that? It was at the coin toss and they were introducing the player there to witness it. They went through the Colts, cheer from the crowd as the first guy was named, cheer for the second, cheer for the third. They went through two of the three Bears, cheer for the first guy named, cheer for the second...and then they named the last guy on the Bear's: Mohammad. And some cheered...and several booed. Why?

I'm guessing it's 'cause he was named Mohammad (unless someone can tell me some other sin he's committed to have warrented the boo's?)

You know, when the game started, I didn't care which side won or lost. But as soon as that happened, I was rootin' for the Bears. And when Mohammad scored a touchdown, I cheered. No guy should get dissed just for his name

It's a Chicago thing sweety. His first name is Muhsin, so the crowd always chants "Moooose". It is definitely a term of endearment. He's our #1 receiver and had the best game he's had in a while (made a couple of great grabs). Just not enough this night.

AHHH! Thanks for clearing that up. I had no idea and I got all mad and shit Glad to know I got it wrong. The Bears did do you guys proud at the very start, though, didn't they?

Indy fans would never boo Muhsin Mohammad. They MIGHT do that to T.O. or Randy Moss, but I even doubt that. We have classy fans. You really have to earn a boo from Indy fans.

Muhsin Mohammad gives the best interviews in pro football. The guy is hilarious. Like S-des said, it was the 2/3 stadium full of Bears fans giving him his props.
