Get there early. It came out here yesterday and was sold out all over town. Best Buy gets their shipment this morning and I'm under strict orders (from my son of course) to be at the store at opening time.

I hope there isn't a stampede.

When gamecube went on sale I was there at 4:30am in the freezing cold....what we do for the kidnicks

although Wlamart was very cool, they came out of the store and gave us a #'d ticket reserving us one that we could come back later and pick it up

This isn't a hijacking, but when are the good games coming out for X-Box. I heard that a bunch of the old games like Sonic the Hegdehog were being upgraded for re-release on X-Box. Does anyone know anything about this. I worked hard to get my little varmits the X-Box last X-mas, but I'm now having trouble finding good games for the kids. I know, I know, probably should have gone with the Game Cube to start with.

Xbox seems like it was for the older teen crowd...lots of sporting and violent games.

Gamecube is definitely the Mario generation...

I see that there getting ready to release some games that you can hook up over the internet...GC, XBox & PS2
