Jan. 26th, 2003 Super Bowl Sunday.....

If you're like me your team did not make the Super Bowl. I watched my N.Y. Gaints come a long way only to fall short. Being a loyal Giant's fan there is always next year.....

Enjoying football as I do it is a tradition to watch the Super Bowl game!

There will be a Super Bowl party of beer, homemade biker chilli, more beer, sourdough biscuits, some more beer, buffalo wings, even more beer, homemade german potatoe salad, and of coarse beer. I'm not sure if I mentioned there will be beer....

I will be cheering on Buccaneers tomorrow!

So who else is having a Super Bowl party and who's your team for the Super Bowl.........

In 1976 we finally got our own professional football team here in the Bay area. We suffered through an 0-26 start. Then 3 of four years in the playoffs. Once making the NFC championship game in 1979. Problem was, we had a skinflint for an owner. A tax attorney of all people.
Twenty years later we finally got back in the championship game, only to lose to the Rams 11-6.
Now, with guys like Alstott, Keyshawn Johnson, Brooks, Sapp, Lynch, Barber and Simeon Rice we finally made it to the 'big show'.
Sorry Raider fans, but y'all are going down tomorrow.

Well I watched my Saints go from one of the best teams in the NFL to going down the drain like they had drano on their ass. Hopefully the defense can make the needed corrections and next year may be different. How I miss living in Nawlins. Anyway. Party time. Beer and Cheese dip w/ tortilla chips. Smokies sausages. etc. and ummmm. GO RAIDERS. Have fun everyone. Take care. later.

Okay, I'll sign in on this one. Not much of a fan of either team, but my bets are on for the Raiders. Both teams play dirty ball, however, the Bucs are just such newbies at the whole thing. The Raiders are the "bad boys" of the NFL, whereas the Bucs are still trying to learn the ropes and haven't quite learned the fine art of not getting caught. And that is going to cost them. I believe the Raiders will have it simply because they can play much dirtier than the Bucs could ever hope to.

Personally, I prefer my games to be professional and upfront. And I suspect there will be many penalties, and expect fighting - especially from the Raiders, who can often make it seem like the other teams fault.

If the Bucs continue on the route they've been going, they might give the Raiders reputation as "dirtiest team" in the NFL a run for its money in, oh, about 10 years.

I really believe the team that plays the nastier game will win - and that's Raiders.

*coming from a VERY un-fan of the Raiders, and will only be watching the game in hopes that Jerry Rice will win another Superbowl ring - but a shame he had to move across the Bay. He has too much class to be playing Raider football.*
