Sunsets

yea i know the subject is kindof cliche but i wrote this.. hmm.. a REALLY long time ago and i just came across it again and thought i'd post it up on here =)



Sunsets
Sometimes my life seems just like a sunset -
Watching as my last rays of hope disappear
Watching as the darkness brings to my mind
The regret of memories best left forgotten.
The whole scene is so beautiful
In its own strange little way,
Watching as the night takes over the day.
But I know that even when I go astray,
There is always a sunrise to look forward to.

Night Shift

Nice sunset poem, Genie_69. And here's another one on sunsets to keep the thread going.


Now as the sunset goes away
I'll start again another day,
A day, although I know it's night.
The sun is gone and I'll need light.
