My story, "Life's a Peach l" got to 103 or 105 ratings, then dropped to 99. I realize it won't likely win, but how did id drop 4-6 ratings?

My goal was 100 and I was over that for a while before literotica decided to "fix" the numbers.

Looks pretty shady. Are the contests legit? Is the site legit?

This is extremely disappointing.

They call it "sweeps". It's not secret. If someone engages in a pattern of abusive voting, say by voting "1" on many contest entries one after another, their votes are "swept" away.

The site is a technological labyrinth of individually confusing headings drawing one ever downward much as some sexual hypnosis.

Most of us find ourselves pleased with the sweeps. Occasionally they erase some high votes, but it’s usually one-bombs, meaning scores go up.

We are, if it matters, discouraged from speculating here on precisely how the sweeps work, because somebody might guess well and give a clue to the trolls.
