What is it that you like about it?? Or don't like???

I love the Fall.... I love going to upstate New York and looking at the pretty colors of the leaves and watching them fall like rain on the streets. I like that it is warm during the day and cool at night. I love Halloween time. Watching what costumes everyone comes up with... The Spookier the better.... :)

So tell me what is it you like??? What is your fall like???

The colors, smells, and sights are all great in the fall. I enjoy taking short trips to the various orchards within an hour or so of where I live. Seeing all the fresh picked apples, pears, prunes, and hazelnuts in large wooden bins in their natural settings is great. I am a cool weather person at heart and enjoy the crisp bite of the morning air, punctuated with the dewdrops on the grass and shrubs.

--Edited to add: I don't like scraping frost off my vehicle windows every morning!

I love Fall!!!

Hey 1SL & AA

I have always loved the fall. I live in Wisconsin, and i live a block down from a park/lake, and the colors of the trees, and the view of the water on a crisp fall morning to me is just breathtaking.
I love Halloween, and seeing all the decorations people display, and the smell of wood burning stoves on a fall evening while taking a walk. Ohhh, i can't wait..LoL

As you all prepare yourselves for fall, we celebrated the first day of spring in Australia today.

Here on the west coast, the temperature was a beautiful 75 fahrenheit. The sun shone, the birds sang and this woman loved it all.

It's such a pretty time of the year here, our wildflowers are out in abundance.

Sometimes it just goes from summer right into winter...not much fall...however it's extremely variable

Fall used to mean heading back to school, which I always dreaded!:(

However, I love the fall now! I love feeling the difference in the air, especially in the morning. Although it can seem sad seeing the leaves cascade and blow away, it only brings my favorite season closer!

Winter means bundling up and lots of snuggles! Oh... and HOCKEY season!:D

Even though my favorite season is spring, I enjoy the fall.
1. We finally get a break from the very hot summers.
2.And Like Jenny said Hockey season begins.
3.The state fair,
4.high school and college football season for those who enjoy that.
5.The changing color of the leaves.
6.And of course, two of my favorite holidays, Thanksgiving and Christmas!!!
And even though my family hardly gets together much anymore. We always get together for Thanksgiving and Christmas.
7.Labor Day and the Jerry Lewis Telethon.
My mom worked it for over 20 years and Dad and I have close to that long. In fact, Dad and Daniel are at the telethon right now. This is Daniel's first time to get to go and work it.
8.***** My wonderful guy's birthday!!!!! *****

The thing that I don't like is having to scrape frost of the windows and warm up the car. And Mom died last fall and sometimes the holidays can seem so lonely! Even when surrounded by lots of relatives.

Fall is my absolute favorite season because:
1) bugs are dying left and right
2) no more New England humidity
3) crisp air with the smell of rotting leaves and dying bugs (lol)
4) FOOTBALL!!!! (Go Patriots!)
5) Halloween, which means sexy women in cat costumes!

Sorry but only GIANTS spoken here...;) No more humidity...aww yes I forgot...:D

Ugh, give me the hot weather any day. I hate cold weather! :(

There is no Fall in Texas, really. It's just god awful hot n humid up until about mid-November, then mother nature teases us with cool enough mornings to don a jacket, then by afternoon, it's mid 70's again and you're burning up.

Yep, it's gettin' cooler. Pretty soon I'll have to start leavin' the burners on in the trailer at night to keep warm

Where I live the climate is a lot like (I've heard) northern Ireland and Scotland...on the coast getting the warm Japanese current here. Look at juneauphotos.com to get an idea. It's nothing like the far north and interior areas. They call us the banana belt of Alaska!

I heard from everyone that Texas is flat. Maybe that is why. No Mountains to give you warm air during the day and cool nights with trees blowing in every direction.
