Summer Intern

His smile caught her by surprise, disarming her or wit. "Uh? Oh, well, er..." she thought for a moment, running her free hand back through her hair and over one ear, almost unseating her hat. "... d'ya know how to ride? Uh, a horse I mean" She asked, blood rushing to her cheeks. The sunlight was waning and they wouldn't really have time for anything more involved than that.

"Well, uhm, I've ridden one before. Not very well, though..."

Kelley stood up, shifting from foot to foot. He kept his hand on the side of the cow, gently patting it, as if in reassurance. He could see the sun setting in the distance and wondered where the day had gone.

"Do days always go bye so quick out here? It seems like I just got here..."

He smiled wistfully and ran his hand through his hair.

"Yeah, well it was later than you think when ya got here" Shirley said, "the wide, flat land allows for a lot of sunshine. In fact we should probably head in now". She eyed the fleeing sun. "You grab that bucket and head inside, I'll get the horse in the stable.

She marched out of the barn, tipping the remnants of her tea on the grass as she went to take care of Bernard.

"Ooh, I didn't realize that I had arrived so late. I'm awfully sorry about that, but there's really not much I could have done. Tomorrow I'll be up bright and early and be ready to start, don't you worry"

He grinned and smacked the cow once again on its side. Grabbing the bucket he watched as she walked towards Bernard. His eyes followed her ass as it moved from side to side and he couldn't help but smile watching her hips. He licked his dry lips, and started towards the house.

"You sure you don't need any help with Bernard?"
