summer in the city

dedicated to the summer characteristics we tend to forget about when romanticising the season.

for example, we oen our windows and raise our shades. we let in the sun and the breeze, the smells of the trees and flower nectar, the sounds of the birds, children playing, and....my neighbor beating the shit out of his wife in the middle of the street.

Well, it's not summer here yet. I'm actually freezing my ass off.
But, reasons why I love summer, is because of the warm sun. The smell of fresh warm summer air filling my house. The comfortable breeze that comes through the windows at night. Ah, and sleeping naked with the warm breezes caressing my skin.
Not to mention all the get togethers for BBQ's and late night drinking with friends outside on my patio.
Laying out and getting a tan on this white girls body. My son playing in the tree swing my ex and I made for him.
And, that is only a few reasons.........
