Summer at the Lodge (Closed for AngelofyourNighmares)

Mason winced and looked at the floor at her question. "I... I wanted us to start fresh. I wanted to leave my past in the past, but I was worried you'd learned my secret and it might change how you felt about me. It's so rare for me to get a clean slate with someone and I thought I had lost that chance with you. I shouldn't have reacted like I did, but I felt like something I'd wanted was slipping away." He bit his lip.

"Have you found out in the interim? You had enough time to do some digging of your own to find out why I reacted like I did." Mason asked in response as he leaned against the frame of the opening between the living room and small dining room.

She didn’t want to upset him that was the last thing she wanted to do. She smiled at him softly he had been one of the only people that seemed to want to get to know the real Emily. “I I’m not like most people... I wouldn’t have cared about what my aunt and uncle said, if so we wouldn’t be even having this conversation.” She said simply. She looked at him confused, he had no idea the type of person she was then again why should he even think she wouldn’t be just like her family. She wondered what he meant by something he wanted, but for now she let that part slide.

It was sexy when he but his lip, she shook her head clearing those thoughts from her mind, good thing he didn’t know her secret she thought. She nodded her head but didn’t say anything about her finding out information. “I’m not here to judge and I don’t believe everything I read.” She said simply. “I would like to know the truth, in return I’ll tell you my main reason for being here unless you already know.” She said softly.

Mason moved over and sat down on the loveseat. It had been so long since he told anyone about what happened. Maybe Emily would be different. She seemed to want to understand. No one in his old hometown seemed to listen, but Emily wasn't from here. He folded his hands and swallowed nervously.

"I had a serious partner once. We were very close, but we participated in things some might call unconventional. She liked to be tied up, secured, made immobile in different ways. I had her trussed up and immobilized like she enjoyed. We were trying a position where I had to take care to hold her up just right... We were so passionate that night... I should have cleaned up the floor better... I stepped and slipped and... The coroner told me that it was very quick... her neck broke instantly..." Mason explained, tears slipping down his cheek.

"Her family pressed charges of negligent homicide on me and I was sent away for 5 years." Mason finally said it out loud. He sighed, wiping his face and eyes as he waited for Emily to get up and leave.

She gently looked at him when he sat down beside her, her heart racing and her breathing a little heavy. She could tell he was apprehensive and she could completely understand that. She wanted to know anything he wanted to tell her she wanted to listen she didn’t want to be like everyone else and pass judgement before she knew the entirety of the story. She looked at him as if willing him to go on that she would be quiet and listen to everything that he had to say. She could see how nervous she was and after all she didn’t blame him.

She smiled at the mention of him having a partner she wondered what that would be like to be with one person and be the only one that mattered to them and Vice versa. She knew all about unconventional, she sighed at that thought. She enjoyed the same things she thought to herself. His next words though brought her crashing back to reality she like the same things but was never that risky she had heard of situations like this so she understood what had happened it was much like breath play she thought to herself thinking about that one time as a shiver went though her.

She took a deep breath seeing the tears in his eyes broke her heart, she could make sense why her family would be upset, but at the Same time Mason had been innocent. She could tell he felt a little bit of relief in telling Emily the truth. She smiled over at him. “I appreciate you being honest with me.” She said gently but made no move to leave either. “I’m sorry You went through that.” She said, waiting to see what mason would say...

Mason looked up, seeing that Emily wasn't leaving. She was consoling him? Thanking him for his honesty? It was so new that he wasn't sure what to do. "You... You really aren't like your family, are you?" He says, finally feeling it sink in.

"You have no idea how many people turn on me when they learn that. I don't know if it's the admission of the lifestyle I led or that it resulted in someone's death, but the reaction is always the same... until now." He said, reaching over and putting his hand over Emily's. He drew in a long slow breath as he looked into Emily's eyes.

"I hope we can hang out some more over the next few days." He said, not pushing too much. He didn't want to presume it was already safe for him to come back to the house with her. She may still want some time away to think about what this all means. He was prepared to take it slow for now.

She wasn’t budging yeah what he had told her was a little surprising but it was a mistake and those things happened. She honestly felt for him she couldn’t imagine what that would be like. She was grateful he hadn’t decided to lie to her she had enough of that from people she trusted. She could tell that he was a little apprehensive not really sure if she was being truthful herself. “I’m really not don’t get me wrong I love my family but I feel like I’m adopted.” She said with a giggle. She smiled over at him, knowing she was going to tell him her truth.

She felt bad that people turned on him but she could sometimes understand that considering most people didn’t understand that lifestyle. She gave him a soft look and smile wanting him to know she wasn’t like other people and she always gave people chances before judging them. “We will.” She said. “But I must tell you my truth.... In college I was a submissive for different guys, it started out me tutoring them and I’m not sure how it turned into more.” She said softly. “I’m no whore maybe three guys and I’ve never been anything more then a toy.”

She realized she had never admitted that to anyone before.

Mason's eyes widened. She just told him that she was in The Life as well. Maybe that's why she didn't run like others have. He smiled a bit, pleased by this turn of events. "Well, it sounds like they were more interested in their needs than with yours. That's no way to treat your sub." He said, throwing in his two cents.

He bit his lip, wondering what it might be like to be with Emily. He pushed those thoughts away. It was too soon; as much as they were clicking, he wasn't ready for another sub, not yet. At least, that's what he told himself. He did allow himself one thought.

"Can we go back to the house and hang out some more? I'd like to try again at this whole 'getting to know you' stage of our friendship." He said, making sure to use friendship rather than relationship. It wasn't a relationship. It wasn't... he told himself a few times.

She couldn’t believe that she had actually admitted that out loud. She bit her lip and wondered what he would think of her now. She looked at him softly. She took a deep breath. “I’ve never had a good situation honestly but I love the life and want more from it.” She said with a blush. “I’ve honestly never told anyone this story before.” She had admitted. She didn’t really know how she was supposed to be treated she was young and hadn’t gotten that far well so she assumed. She looked at him as he said that.

“Thank you.” She said. She couldn’t help but feel connected to Mason perhaps it was because he didn’t treat her like she was a snob. She sighed and looked at him softly. “I’m used to be used for my money, sex, smarts I’ve never had anyone just want to be around me for me.” Lord she felt like she was talking to much. She looked away from him hoping this wasn’t all too much for him. She knew also she wouldn’t be the right girl for him, eventually she sighed he would be like everyone else get what he wanted and leave.

She honestly would love that she thought to herself. “I would love that.” She said softly and smiled.

"Come on then..." Mason said, standing up and offering Emily his hand. Once he took it, he led her back outside and up the path to the house. Letting themselves in again, he walked over to their faux picnic and sat down on the floor.

Sighing and relaxing against the couch, he looked over at Emily. "If you don't mind me asking, how did you know you liked being a sub? I haven't gotten a chance to talk with anyone about The Life in so long; I hope you don't mind me asking." He said, wanting to know so much more about this side of Emily now that he knew.

She smiled as she stood up and took his hand as he led her towards the house, this felt odd she thought but so right at the same time. Her hand felt safe in his she thought to herself, yet she was younger then him and they were worlds apart m, she shouldn’t even be having these thoughts she barely knew him anyway she thought as she shook her head. She looked at him as they both got comfortable on the floor she had been glad that she had already cleaned up and put everything away. She looked at him gently when he looked over at her.

She had so much going on in her head at the moment she didn’t know wether she was coming or going. She bit her lip at his question she wasn’t really sure how to answer it but to be honest and hope she didn’t come across as a slut. “Well it started as I said me being a tutor for a few guys on the football team, I had a big crush on the kicker, he was everything I had wanted in a guy, or so I assumed.” She said taking a deep breath before beginning again. “He asked me out as more then his tutor I agreed he took my virginity it was nice honestly but then he asked me if I would be interested in a threesome with him and the quarterback, I was into the guy so much I agreed... I didn’t know he was just using me they both were... but the sex was amazing, and being dominated by the two of them was thrilling... it ended because I wanted to be his and not be shared, he told me I was just a little sad
Puppy dog that was only good to be used and abused.... that’s the main reason I came” she said looking away for a moment.

She couldn’t believe that she had admitted all of that to a almost complete stranger.

Mason nodded slowly. "You made yourself vulnerable and they took advantage. Along the way you realized you liked the power dynamic." Mason said, putting the pieces together. He frowned a little as he looked over.

"You'll find that when you find a Dom that respects your feelings and emotions, but can also use you as you need, it is so much more fulfilling for both of you." He said with a smile. As he did, his eyes couldn't help but dip down and take in her body. The cut of the dress put her body on display in a subtle way and he was already mentally undressing her. He wasn't trying to, but more his mind idly wandered to what she must look like under it.

"No prospects for that back home?" He asked, curious if she was serious about anyone.

She looked at him as he nodded and she hoped like hell she hadn’t revealed to much of herself. She nodded her head they did take advantage even if it was a complete turn on she wanted more abs she had known there was more out there. She just couldn’t seem to find it. She liked being a sub she had like them being in changes of her body but it would have been nice to be more then just a sub, to be loved and cherished and have aftercare... she shook her head as she thought about that. He already seemed to know her so very well.

When he frowned at her however she had thought she had revealed to much and the look on her face basically said that. She smiled at that it had been what she had been looking for but what did she expect they were college boys and only worried over there own needs , sure she had orgasms because of the pain and the pleasure but she didn’t know what a real relationship was either. His smiled warmed her. She noticed the way he looked at her but she thought nothing of it either. She bit her lip she had been glad that she had been honest with him.

She took a deep breath and bit her lip as she looked over at him. She scoffed at his question not really intending to, “People back home only like me for my money... and I don’t really share my needs and wants with people if my family found out I would be looked down upon, not that it even matters to me anymore, I have my own money... once I turned 18 I got my trust fund, but that’s what I’m known as a spoiled, smart, trust fund baby.” She said and looked away her face red in shame. “It’s always about money in my circle....” she said with a deep breath.

"Then find a new circle." Mason said. He said it like it was so simple, the easiest thing in the world. "If you can find a way to get into the community of Doms and subs out west, you'll find that they are usually welcoming and understanding. They know what it's like to be unwanted or misunderstood and it helps bring people like that together. I've never been out there, but I'm sure there's some place you know that you can go..." He said, watching her eyes to see if she'd considered that.

"As far as this summer goes, I'd be happy to talk with you about it as much as you want." He bit his lip, keeping himself from going that one step further and offering to Top her all summer. As much as he may want to, she was part of his boss' family. It would never work or be acceptable professionally.

Even so, he couldn't help his eyes taking her in. He felt his mind building an image of how Emily looked under her clothes. It made his cock throb and it had been so long since his last partner. He could feel how badly he needed it.

She looked at him when he told her to get a new circle that was easier said then done she thought to herself, he wouldn’t understand her life well at least not that part of it anyway. She however did agree she really did need a new circle. Maybe it was easy for most people but for Emily it wasn’t. She wasn’t regally looking for anything like that at the mention of a dom sub community she was looking for well hell Emily didn’t even really know. She took a deep breath and bit her lip looking away for a moment. “I know I’m not one of the type of subs most would tolerate I am a bit of a brat and there are times wheee I want the normalization of a real relationship as well, but in my situation I did not get that and it even the feeling cherished part I’ve done my research, trust me.” She said embarrassed as she looked away.

She blushed at his offering to talk to her about things and that made her feel good but when what about when summer was over Emily had already been burnt in the past by someone she had given her all too, she didn’t want to fall for mason and she knew she could already seeing herself doing so. If they did get together would it be like the last she wondered would she just be used and passed back and forth? Besides mason wouldn’t want someone like Emily she wouldn’t be enough for him she still had a lot to learn after all.

She also knew her family would factor in and eventually her money, she just wanted normal. She looked over at him it wouldn’t be so bad if he was t so attractive. She took a deep breath. “Thanks.” She really wasn’t sure what she was thinking him for.

"Ummm, you're welcome." Mason replied, but it felt more like a reflex to her thanks. He looked at the floor, biting his lip. "Would you like some time to hang out and relax? We can get back together for dinner, if you like." Mason suggests, wondering if it might be too fast for anything else.

He looks around, wondering if there might be work he's put off that would keep him busy for a little while. He can already feel himself warming to Emily; he doesn't want to get too close since she's jsut here for the summer. Besides, he has his own problems to deal with.

She figured she was just thanking him for understanding her and not judging her that meant more to her then he would probably ever know. She smiled over at him even as her mind was going a million miles a minute. She could tell he himself like her for a moment was at a loss of words. She pondered on what he said. “That would be nice I can get a few chapters of the book I am writing in and I can make dinner and you can meet me back here maybe after dinner we can relax in the hot tub?” It was more of a question really she wasn’t sure if he’d be comfortable with that.

She bit her lip she couldn’t fall for him, she just couldn’t she didn’t even really know what love was the only guy she ever really cared for used her and treated her like trash. She took a deep breath and watched him carefully she wondered how he was since he had gotten out of prison how him and his partner had been before the tragic accident that stole her life and she wondered if she would be someone he could want to be with.... no she thought she mustn’t think like that it was to soon not for a relationship but she barely knew him after all.

Sure she was only there for the summer but what if she wondered... yes what if. Okay enough of that. “I’ll see you about Six?” She asked breaking them
Both from there thoughts.

At the mention of the hot tub, Mason blushed a little. That was more intimate than he was figuring, but it could be nice. It was a lovely summer day. They were alone up here together. Maybe it was innocent after all. "Sure, I could do with a long soak." He said with a grin.

Getting up, he looked over to the kitchen. "You sure you're comfortable cooking in there? You don't want any help?" He asked, giving her a hand to stand up as well.

"You may need to call me to remind me. I tend to lose track of time when I get busy working." Mason explained. He loved time in his workshop so he had no idea how long he'd be in there some times.

"Summer at the Lodge" sounds like such an amazing escape. I've always thought a summer house is the best way to unwind and enjoy the season. I imagine a bespoke summerhouses would make the experience even more special. Picture it: customized just the way you want it, with all the little details that make it perfect for you. Maybe a cozy reading nook, a big deck for BBQs, and even a small garden for fresh herbs and veggies. There's something magical about having a place that feels like it’s just for summer, where you can relax, entertain friends, and enjoy the warm weather. The idea of spending long, lazy afternoons in a hammock, evenings by the fire pit, and mornings with coffee on the porch sounds like the perfect summer. Plus, having a bespoke summer house means it’s unique to you.
