Suggestions, please!

Imp, I haven't had a look at the site yet, but off the top of my head --could you post a thread listing your stories and what "category" or fetish they cover? That way if someone is looking for a particular kink, they'll know precisely where to go to get it.

Small blurbs of each story could also be helpful, like the blurbs found on the backs of novels.

I'm not sure this is quite what you needed by way of self-promotion. Let me think on it some more and see if anything comes up.

Right now, I'm totally keeping Lit and PhazE separate. They haven't asked (required) me to pull anything from Lit ... but I'll certainly do so, if needed.

I have a couple of excerpts on my blog, but haven't done more (yet).

I did learn (after the fact) that PhazE has an unwritten "must have a penis" rule for submissions ... but apparently an exception was made for the two F/F stories in the anthology I submitted.

OK, I visited the site. I did see in the Fine Flickering Hungers sticky a bit about what's included in your anthology. I will say as a consumer, there isn't enough there to make me want to pursue more.

What I'd like to see is a list of the titles of each story, at least. Sometimes from the title alone I can be cajoled into looking further. This might also be where you'd like to put in a small blurb about each story -or include samples. I know you say you've got samples on your blog, and there's nothing wrong with that per se, but again -as a consumer- I prefer not to click out of a site once I'm in it. It might be beneficial to include blurbs/summaries/samples in both places.

It seems to me on that thread that you're rushing through what you're presenting, and I don't get a feel for your style or even your own enthusiasm for your anthology. That sticky thread would be a good place to start with some self-promotion by investing time in blurbs/summaries/samples. I'd also make this the first sticky on your forum, as that would draw more attention to it. I nearly skipped over it the first time glancing through your forum.

THANK YOU! This is exactly what I need to hear. I'll work on that sticky later today. (Incidentally, I can't change the sticky order ... but posting to it will bump it to the top of the sticky list.)
