Suggestions for writting

I’m currently using an iPad with Pages because I can lock my story. Can anyone suggest something better.

I use Obsidian on my phone. Picking Markdown up is quite easy. I only change it to HTML whenever I'm publishing something here. If there's something that requires DOC or RTF formats, I just copy and paste it into AndrOpen Office, which is an Android port of Open Office. I'm not sure if there's something similar on the iOS ecosystem though...

Everything is Open Source and Free, and all files are saved locally, so you can backup them wherever you want.

Obsidian is what works best for me. It's pretty much the only tool I need, and nothing else has topped it. My latest stories were edited in Obsidian.
