Hi,

does anybody know w illustraed stories should be uploaded to literotica?

As a word/odt-file? Or as a text and some pictures?

Thanks a lot, any help is apreciated :)

Laurel's instructions and guidelines for submitting illustrated stories are in the FAQ here. The FAQ provides instructions for submitting the art through email. The editor generally doesn't respond to email, so you might want to seek other options first.

Good luck and have fun.

I have in the past submitted illustrated stories and used a .doc file attached to the submission form. It has to be .doc (word 97 compatible) file as Lit doesn't take any other format. Place the images in the file, where you want them to appear. Then attach the file.

Good luck.

Another option is to upload the images and provide links in the story and an explanation in the comments. Uploading as attachments is acceptable, especially as that limits the dimensions of images to a size compatible with Lit's "look and feel."

Uploading as a Word 97 .DOC file or .RTF file with embedded images works, but is sub-optimal as it adds to Laurel's workload to extract and format around images. copying images from one server to another is child's play in comparison.

Thanks a lot, i also had thought about writing stories with pictures, and uploaded my story some hours ago ... (in german literotica).

I have successfully submitted audio stories with illustrations in the past.

I upload the text of the story in Submissions under my profile. In the Notes box I explain that it's an illustrated story. (I also of course say it's a text with audio story). I say I have submitted the pictures and the audio file via My Docs: https://www.mydocsonline.com/scripts/aupload.dll?UIP0063E46e22d8B.

I make sure the pictures and audio file have the same/similar name as the text of the story.

Sometimes Laurel forgets to put the pictures into the story, but if you drop her a PM she corrects this as quickly as she can.

You have to figure out how to make the picture the right number of pixels so they fit well into the Literotica narrow band of text, rather than spill over the side of it.
