lol:) A few, you will see:)

Mistress Domme is a little unwise, yes?

Agreed. It is a daring 1st post.

Hello Mistress Domme-

Welcome to the LITEROTICA General Board, this is a diverse community. It is a community. This is the slow part of the 24 hour cycle. I suggest you start reading while you wait, to acclimate yourself. Or, if you prefer, we can talk now.:)

have I gooten out of bed in time for a fight between dommes?

sub·mis·sive (sb-msv)

adj.

Inclined or willing to submit

Hmmm, I might fall into this category. :)

Thank you for your ignorant reply :) Unlike you, I am very busy and do not spend my day here. An average of 14-15 posts per day sounds like you have little else to do. Unwise? no, but new to this particular message board....meow...........

A little clue; if you want to fit in, do not insult one of the most loved regulars on the board. It is not a good way to start off.

Nessus may not have chosen the best of words to use, but then English is not her native language. I think she meant that you are not yet wise to the ways of the board, and she did not mean it in an insulting manner.

I would submit to whatever desires my woman had.

That is not to say I am a lifestyle submissive, or that I will submit to any woman who tries to dominate me. Good luck trying. Hit me with that thing and you'll be picking your ass up out of the trash can. See how domme you feel after that.

I need to be secure in a relationship with someone who is loving and alternately just as interested in submitting to me as I am to her. I'd do anything to please such a love. Willing to submit completely to her? Definitely yes.

My guess is that I am not what you are looking for.

How many submissives lurk about this board?

What STG said, and more. Don't insult someone because you don't think that they are worthy of a proper responce. Nessus welcomed you, and offered advice to you, in her honest and kind way. To see such a foolish, and ungratefull, reply to helpfull words does nothing for your image. If you want to find a submissive here, go to the personals board, if you want to know how many subs there are willing to come forward, might want to try a poll. Want to avoid major (deserved) flames? Stay away from attempts at insulting people you know nothing about. People can post here and still have lives, in fact, I know quite a few of them. Nessus happens to post many fine works of art, and quite a few of the posters here take joy in seeing those posts.

We here at Lit love Nessus.
I think she's an absolutely gorgeous person, lovely and real inside and out.

OTOH, and with all the respct i give to all newbies, we (i) don't know you from a hole in the ground.

OTOH, and with that same respect, i don't know any authentic Dominant who would act as though the local submissives owe them some sort of accounting, just cuz they claim Mistress/Master status. As you must know, such a title is mostly, usually, reserved for very initmate relationships. your practice may be different, of course, but in normal everyday life, those of us who do this kind of thing for real don't go around (1) dissing other lifestylers we don't know and/or (2) expecting all the locals to bow at our feet when we turn up in a new place.

With respect, you might want to rethink your approach here, Mistress Domme. Perhaps you're unaware of this but we have many lifestylers at Lit, Dom/mes, Switches, and subs alike. We tend not to play online-flavored chat-room style games of "dominating strangers" here, either. This is a place for real people.

cym

Cym,

Nicely said. Once again, a woman articulates what I am feeling better than I can myself

If you are going to be so insulting to regulars here, could you please change your location name (Midwest)? I want no ties to you at all!

Suggestion: You have two posts under this handle. Pick a different name and start over while you still can.

Madame is neither ignorant nor without a life... Perhaps she is right... you are unwise to come here and insult her thusly...

An apology seems to be in order!

Perhaps this is the source of some confusion? As we know, there are plenty of chat rooms and web sites wherein subs are expected to announce themselves and behave in a certain manner before ever saying "hello."

Also, I have been in some chat rooms wherein "pecking order" becomes established through "turf wars".

Well, I sound so very experienced, but the chat room scene just isn't for me. So, I am basing my response upon a half dozen chat rooms that I visited once , maybe twice.

:D Take it for what it's worth.

Thank you for clearing that up for me. I was not intending to make enenies here, only responding to a post that was insulting to me. I appreciate your comments :)

I think you've hit the nail on the head, MissT. Her approach was reminiscent of chat room tactics, a thing i feel rather comfortable commenting on because in years gone by, i spent many *many* hours (days, weeks, months, years) in BDSM themed chat rooms all over the net.

Lit is so different.
Here we are real.
No posturing. No pretense.
What exists here is simply words that stretch between us all forming intricate webs of shared jokes, helpful advice, soothing care, and vicarious experiences.

I wonder if Mistress Domme knows this... or wants it?

We are all submissive in one way or another.

So the answer would be ever how many members are here + the guests,or unregistered people.

Well I guess i am being a smart ass lol.
That question is a hard one to answer really.
But if you want to keep tabs chalk me up as a submissive.

Nicely said, Madame.

If i may dare, and on Nessus' behalf, i cannot imagine she would be deliberately insulting to you or any of us. She simply isn't -or hasn't ever been, here, among us- that kind of person. Perhaps it's another case of net limitations on the emotional quality of the words passed between relative strangers? We've all been victim to such misunderstandings, have we not?

Welcome to Lit, Mistress Domme.

In case no one noticed, Nessus isn't the only truly wonderful one among us.

Cymbidia, full of style and grace. :)

Oh riiiiight! Now i get it..... submissive....~pet~...

Someone really should have pointed that out to me sooner

Irritating

I found "mistress" and her comments to be irritating to ay the least. Everybody is accepted no matter what their kink is or isn't. For some (like me) it is a place to meet new people, make friends, understand others and make no judgments on anybody that would make them feel like crap. Perhaps "mistress" needs to seek another board otherwise accept who people are and what they are about. For me I like total HONESTY from other people and I find it here.
