Dear Writers,
I am nonplussed. The first ten stories I submitted to Literotica were posted without incident. Suddenly, the last three stories have mysteriously disappeared from the author submission page but not been posted. I have written Laurel no lesss than seven times over the last three months asking about the three missing stories but can get no reply at all from anyone at Literotica. Totally frustrated, I am asking if any of you have had similar problems. I would appreciate any feedback or help you might be able to afford. Thanks. A.P.

Hi A.P.,

Have you tried submitting them again?

Do you mean they've disappeared after they were accepted and posted or before they were accepted? If they weren't accepted, maybe there was some technical problem with the way you submitted them. Fonts, italics and unreadable characters, etc. I had a problem like that once, but it said my story was "not accepted" - it didn't disappear from the page. They also sent me a mail asking me to submit it again in a different format.

That's the only problem I can think of right now. Try submitting it again. Hope someone more knowledgable will come along...

Hi Amanda,

Anytime a story is not posted, for whatever reason, you should receive a message letting you know why. Previous to August, that message should've come via email. Since sometime in late July or early August, we have a system which automatically tells you the reason when you view the story in your control panel.

I can probably look back through my logs and see which stories you are speaking of. If you could PM me a list, it would make it even quicker. If you can send me the info via PM, we could be sure that it gets to me. Email should work too, but Lit gets over 1,000 pieces of email every day, and PMs are a safer bet.

I'm still going through some of the backlog from our time out of town, but I promise to push you to the front of the line and get this figured out. :)

Thanks for bringing it to my attention, and I'll talk to you more soon!
